Thankyou sir. But when I applied the same steps at the end in slicer its by default selecting "All" instead of lastest month could you please suggest me where I am doing wrong
for dropdown it needs to be expanded But i want small drilldown button.
help me with this

Thank you for your comment .However I am not exactly able to comprehend it when you say drill down ..Do you mean drill down in the slicer level ?Please note since this is a custom visual there are some limitations.check the below fabric link for details .

Thanks! Quick question, how do I do this if I have multiple FACTS?
It does not matter how many fact tables you have .The requirement is to have a Date Dimension and pull the year in the slicer from this Dimension and not from facts .Hope this helps!
Suppose I have 2 preselected slicers product and month dependent on each other, On selecting a product from the product slicer i get the default minimum month selected on the month slicer, when I change the selection on the month slicer manually, and now I go back and select another product on the product slicer, the default on the month slicer vanishes, nothing is selected by default. I need to reset and get back the default selection. Can this be avoided? I mean I do not want to use the reset button.

Thanks for the info. Instead of years I have weeks and I follow your steps but instead of selecting the current week it selects all the weeks by default. Do you know why?
There are limitations on using custom visuals .The method shown here focuses more on year/month .By the wat were you able to solve the week thingy .If yes do let us know your method .I am sure our audience would love to know :)
@@powerbizone nope with this visual. I saw another method where you add a column to your Calendar table, where if the week is previous at the actual, it is fulfilled with that particular week, if is your actual week, “Selected week” and for the rest of the weeks, in Blank
With that method the week to analyze its always at the top of your slicer
