Are you on the latest firmware 1.2.0? I am not experiencing those issues you mention with the touch screen or system lock ups.
Yes thanks I am running the latest version. It came with it, I might try reloading it to see if that cures the problem. It doesn’t stop me using it though.
@@knewideas3860 I will be receiving a larger Micro SD card today and will load a lot more music than I currently have, so hopefully that won't cause any issues.
I’m using a 128GB card at the moment with more than 8000 tracks.
I have a pair of Koss Porta Pro Wireless. Using this with wav files, how will the sound compare to wired koss headphones?
As the M5 and Porta Pro both support Apt-X you should find the difference in sound quality is minimal, although as I don’t have the Porta Pros I cant be certain.
What I can’t factor in is the human part, how individuals hear can be quite different and subtle.

Urgh, sad no one really does tests with it wearing it like a watch. I found that sans Apple Watch no smartwatches really give you good control of music. Just wanna use BT headphones and control em via watch.
I might have considered that but I really don’t like square smart watches. This thing doesn’t shout ‘wear me’. Of course down to individual tastes.
I’ll test this later and see what the control is like for music on a phone, you’ve got me thinking...

Having just tested this briefly I don’t think it’s going to work for you. When set to Bluetooth receiver mode it’s just a dumb receiver, no way to navigate songs stored on a phone
