I installed new battery terminals because my old ones were passed their life span and to prevent any more future problems I got some new ones.

I would never use those terminals on anything I depend on. Just buy the complete cable, a premade one in proper length or have them custom built at an industrial shop…..Not expensive, worth every penny.
