I'm interested in the Garuda. I feel like there must be a cheaper and quicker way of using it that no one has thought of or something that will be introduced next set, otherwise ot seems a complete waste of a Hero slot.
It's hard to ever truly write something off in FFTCG, isn't it? Like I said (though my mic sucked that day), Garuda seemed really cool for Blue Wyrm-style of Monster decks to push for a semi-OTK, until L Lightning just did the same job better. :/
I'm curious to your thoughts on the LE Yuffie card being included in packs. Many in the community don't think its a big deal but saying just spend another $500 - $1000 a set just to get all the cards in said set is insane when you already buy a master case. I do not believe we should call them master cases anymore.
It certainly made me re-evaluate my stance on max-rarity-ing my decks! I think generally it's a good move for non-collectors, because it helps ensure a set will sell out, which lowers the price of other Legends/rare stuff pretty quickly. Square aren't going to mind, and anyone other than the obsessive collector will probably benefit from it. It's an unfortunate precedent to set when we're 18 sets in, but it's good for publicity. Personally, I'll settle for a foil L - which is going to end up cheaper than usual because a rarer copy exists. :P
