    I have taken the intercooler hose off, it is blowing oil out around the end of the hose where it connects to the turbo, it was also slack the clip was not tight

      it's really really hard to tell anything about that for sure on the distance

    Any idea what size the nust on the catalytic converter where, having a lot of difficulty in getting them out where they connect the piping to the turbo. broke one already :( did you take your wheel off as well ? So hard to get in , I ended up taking the AC unit out , still hard .

      Gracias. Y puedes ver este video czcams.com/video/JojkMqm8EzA/video.htmlsi=ysTqFKFN9np5AS-3 tal vez para un poco de ajuste de torque, ya que los motores y el turbo son casi iguales.
      Thank you. And you can check this video czcams.com/video/JojkMqm8EzA/video.htmlsi=ysTqFKFN9np5AS-3 maybe for some torque tightening, as the engines and turbo are almost the same

    Ok. Maybe a stupid question but why is the Turbo being removed? What are the benefits?

    • @HintSlice
      @HintSlice  Před 5 měsíci

      the turbocharger was not providing enough air to the engine and the reason of this low boost pressure was in failing turbocharger so it was replaced with new one and thats it, all the benefits :)
      Regards.

      Is that just the solenoid or teh whole turbe charger and what would u say is a reasonable price for one these days. Needs to do some big work on my van.

      @MrPiccolop in my case and usually on these engines, the mechanical part of the turbine fails and you can check it by Checking the Turbo Shaft Play manually by removing the air supply pipe to the turbine or by removing the exhaust pipe from the turbine 7:48 . You always can restore your turbo if there is a need or take used turbo in good condition (shape)

    i have noticed alot of oil around the turbo ,,is it the intercoolar pipe , is this a sign of a failing turbo , my van is a 1.9dci year 2006

    • @HintSlice
      @HintSlice  Před 6 měsíci

      Oil around the turbo is not always a sign that turbo is failing.This may be a sign of worn piston rings, valve guide, valve stem seals, and the PCV system may be clogged.
      or sometimes (from some experience with this engines) it may be everything at once

    hello! This engine is the 1.9 80hp or 1.9 100hp, do they have the same turbo? thank you

    • @HintSlice
      @HintSlice  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Hi. Yes they have same turbo. The difference between this two engines mostly is in the ECU hardware

    • @macaffis
      @macaffis Před 3 měsíci

      @@HintSlice It seems that way, but when they do a remap they don't get the same hp, from 80 it goes to 109 and from 100 it goes to 130, I don't understand?
