Played through on the default (82%) difficulty level.
Sylvester and Tweety in Cagey Capers marked the first time that these two of Warner Bros. most iconic cartoon characters starred in a video game of their own. It's a platformer with a bit of a twist - rather than simply going left-to-right to reach a goal, Sylvester has to follow Tweety through each of the stages attacking him until he's worn down and flies off to his final resting position. When Tweety Bird is surrounded by blue arrows, he can easily be snatched and eaten, thus marking the end of the stage.
Of course there are several things that attempt to get in between Sylvester and his irritatingly cute snack: along with random environmental hazards, Granny is on hand with a broom waiting to beat some obedience into the cat, Hippety Hopper and Hector (the 'roided up bulldog) are only too happy to provide a beat down, and even Tweety himself can assume his terrifyingly mutated form to eat Sylvester whole.
As a game that intends to provide kids with more of what they love from TV, the game is solid. The graphics are extremely faithful to the show, and are loaded with neat little details and animations to further the illusion of paying the cartoon. The few voice clips that are here are clear and sound like they were sampled directly from show recordings, and the environments themselves all carry the feel of the program extraordinarily well.
For older games, or those not totally enamored with the show, it's still charming, but probably not quite as satisfying. Even with the cool power-ups, every stage has the same goal, chase Tweety, claw at him violently, chase him again, solve a simple box-pushing "puzzle", chase again, and eat. The points count up, and then you move onto a new stage to repeat the process again. It controls well and it's pretty easy, but it doesn't last long. It's far more about style than substance.
And it has certainly got a lot of style.

This is the first game i played un my life. I have lots of good memories playing it. I still play it often. I never get tired! Is brillant and different from others game of the genre.
One of the best games on the Sega Genesis. I used to play it as a kid, and I still find it hilarious. I can't understand some of the spoken dialog, though (Except the "I thought I saw a puddy cat!" and "Hello, breakfast!" ones)

I do have this one as well on the Genesis but I have never been able to use it because this one has so much sentimental value originating from my parents.
This and Desert Demolition were the shit as far as 16-bit Looney Tunes games went. So much better than what Sunsoft churned out.
Rabbit Rampage was cool.. in my opinion, at least

That's what I understood when I was a kid
It took me a while to figure the first one out, but it's actually "Hello, breakfast!" The other one is "Now I got'cha!"
I never noticed until now, Hector the dog makes an appearance. He was always one of my favorites in the Sylvester and Tweety cartoons.

It's kinda funny how the developer went from this to Demolition Man...
That developer was Alexandria, which later became Oddworld Inhabitants.
I had this game back in 1995, and I enjoyed it, unlike stanburdman, who clearly doesn't like it.
If you have fond memories of hearing, "I thought I saw a puddy cat!" and "Hello, breakfast!", then this game will be right up your alley!

The voices of Sylvester and Tweety were provided by the late Mel Blanc, a.k.a. "The Man of 1000 Voices," who also provided the voices of Barney Rubble, Bugs Bunny and Heathcliff, among others.

It's worth noting that when Mel Blanc did the voice of Sylvester, he didn't even change his voice at all. All he did was use his actual voice with several spit takes to make it sound unique. You gotta hand it to the guy, he was very crafty with his talent. RIP Mel Blanc

Wow this game looks absolutely amazing and I also love how it features Tweety and Sylvester in it I also love how it has voice lines in it my favorites would have to be Now i gotcha when Tweety is caught and hello breakfast when the Tweety scope is used

I searched on online and it turns out you can play on a PC I give the game 10/ 10
Even It's a very simple game, I used to rent it, I still find better than the Coyote and Road Runner one.
My son, too, used to rent it at Title Wave and play it for hours!
This is actually the game that makes me wish Sylvester Jr. was in some of the cartoons where hes trying to catch either Tweety or Speedy.
I wish there was a sound clip when he appears of him going "Oh FATHER!"
I can say that Sylvester is unlucky funny cat. Most of the world know Tom, but most of the world ignor him.
Does anyone know an episode where Sylvester actually wins 'cause I feel bad for him and he basically has the same luck as Tom from Tom and Jerry, who I also feel bad for. Maybe Sylvester has worse luck than Tom, I don't know, but they both have a lot of things in common and I mean A LOT.

@Inspirational Gamer Yes. Sunsoft planned to make a similar game for the SNES, but the game was cancelled when their North American offices closed due to bankruptcy. Something similar happened with Wile E.'s Revenge, a planned sequel to Road Runner's Death Valley Rally where this time, Wile E. was the playable character.
At least is better than the "Sunsoft" Looney Tunes games.

"Sunsoft" Looney Tunes Video Games, they were developed mostly by ICOM (Deja Vu ICOM).
They don't even have any music by Naoki Kodaka.
Instead, the music for the ICOM-developed SNES Looney Tunes games were composed by San Francisco, California-based Nu Romantic Productions.
@Samir AdamsI liked the music in Firepower 2000, World Heroes, and Tazmania, but Sunsoft didn't make most of the games sold under their label in the latter half of the 16-bit era. That's why those games feel so different from their NES and early Genesis stuff. They mainly stuck to publishing stuff made by other companies.
