This is a laudable project we need about 10 of this kind of Mega Mall across the 5 Eastern States...that's like 2 Mega Malls of this size in each of the 5 Eastern States.
Obiano has been drinking his life away in Awka, he should come and see his junior mate. I'm not surprised Abakaliki has surpassed Awka, you will feel the busy city like in Abakaliki when you tour around unlike Anambra. I hope they will learn to be humble and accept their failure.

Umahi is an enigma. He is a performer. I wonder how he was able to change the face of Abakaliki with the little resources available to the government. I would like him to take the development programmes to the hinterland. Umahi for President 2023, ready to campaign for him.

This is ebonyi that had noting before, Anambra people used to insult and abuse this hard-working people with all manner of derogatory words like Abakaliki this and that. to an extent of changing street names in Awka town because of hate on Abakaliki. Till now Obaino has never came close to what umahi has done so far. His supporters will come after you but that's the truth. Do you have any mall of this standard in Awka town as a whole built by Obiano? ,can you compare those flyover at Aroma junction to What you can see in 8 flyovers in Ebonyi? We have to commend Umahi not to halt his developmental progress.

Just another type of Umahi for 8yrs, then awka-ibom will be learning from Ebonyi state in all ramifications.
Potentially, this is actually the first "shopping mall" I have seen in Nigeria. If you have been to Westfield in Stratford East London, or to White City in Shepperd's Bush in NW London, or the several shopping malls across the USA, then it becomes easy to appreciate a complete shopping experience. Thanks for proving another relevant, stand-alone content !
Do you honestly think that the fit and finish will never match either of the Westfield in London, perhaps it this shopping mall will be compared with the old Stratford shopping mall, just look at the cheap and flimsy roof sheets that they used in this construction. It is admirable what the governor is doing but Nigerian artisans mainly builders are diabolical at best, even when you throw money at them, from my experience.
@Igbo Amaka we have alot of malls that looks like ebonyi malls here too. David is an Engr and have travelled out and seen things. Other Governors do travel but can never replicate one, i heard Obiano is Governing Anambra state from U.S.A for months now. But I've not seen anything he has built close to standard. The airport just look like a warehouse, Awka look like a village town, I'm disappointed in them, they will be the first dictate for you and their loudmouth. I wonder what Obiano does with the state IGR..

@@nnadoo I am from Ngwo in Enugu state, but truth be told, Enugu is a rural area. Newer cities of Abakaliki, Awka, Asaba, Owerri, even Umuahia are alot better than Enugu.
@@desmondnedualaegbu5097 Though Enugu has been slacking especially under this administration but still she ain't as bad as Awka. I lived there and the only "happening"place is Abakaliki/club street. I wouldn't want substandard flyovers in Enugu like what Mr Obiano built in Anambra state.

Eboyin people love colours. Everything and everywhere is multicolored.
The colour is too much and tend to spoil the beauty, but maybe another Good Governor might change it. Hence it's standard as we can see, we don't mind about the colour. Can you compare this to Any mall in South East? I don't know where Umahi id getting funds.

Aniefiok Victor I wish as well it be duplicated in my city Owerri, Imagine Ebonyi International Airport has the largest terminal in Nigeria and it has lodgings and shopping centres as well. Abakaliki has one of the best Market. Most of the roads there built with cement technology. Towns centre beautiful with water fountains,. Umahi has built about 9 overhead pass ie flyovers Bridge.
Importantly, medical college in Uburu Town is one of best in Nigeria.

We need to flog Obiano for not delivering a common shopping mall of this standard to Awka and nnewi. What is the reason Obiano couldn't develop anambra state despite the huge IGR even though it's third in the East after Enugu, Imo. but ebonyi the list came out the first in Infrastructural, economical and human development we're seeing. I commend our politicians not to play politics with their people and make them feel proud like eboyians. Only the internatonal market, college of health, Olympic stadium and airport that will stand out among all is enough to show any Governor willing to develop it state can with no excuses.
PDP needs to take over Anambra. Politicians use Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu's pic to deceive some ignorant Anambrarians to elect incompetent individuals.

@Emmanuel Agbo I know, but you can't have residential home roofs look better than a commercial property roof. This is part of the issue. There is a Nigerian over focus on building "the largest...the longest...the tallest" Quality is compromised when you only have enough money to build something smaller of world standards. Quality, not size should be the focus. That is what gets you the respect you seek.

The outside color is great but inside color should be gray that will make it rich and beautiful just malls here in Canada or America. Those strong red, blue and yellow in my view is not making the mall look expensive and rich
