  • In this episode we will look at the pulley dropper rig and I will show a step by step guide on how to make one from start to finish.
I don't use this rig much myself but it is a interesting one. It's not really a pulley rig as such but it's capabilities allows you to fish a long Snood below the lead and on the cast it clips up well for gaining distance.
Good for bass, rays, Smoothound, cod
Also you can use multiple hook snoods with this rig.
Let me know in the comments what you think 👍

Hi Jason, nice video, I would be a bit careful with the strength of the hook snood it is taking half the casting force. The swivel will hold it so it won’t be dangerous but you will get a big overrun. If you want a light line long snood the up and over with a Trident hangover works reasonably well. One thing you might like to try, get two weights and some 15 or 20 pound line, tie some different knots and pull for a break. It c

Cheers Jason, this is the first rig in the new series that I haven't tried yet. I just need some of the bent rig clips to be able to try this rig out. I'm out tonight fishing rough ground, so don't think it will be needed tonight, but will let you know how I get on when I do get round to using this rig.
