I can't say I blame him.
I don't want to lose mine, but, I can't pretend my life wasn't way less stressful back when I didn't have one.
Or, rather, back when my phone was just that, a phone, instead of a multi purpose device I now need to rely on for multiple factors of daily life
He's lived a life, that one.

I laughed at the very end when it cuts away from "your shoes look older than you" to a shot of him on stage looking down, almost like he's realizing "the kid's not wrong!"

When that kid said "I'm not toxic!" I really wanted to clap out loud in my room. Proper good attitude to have.
I'm 34 and I got proper back into online gaming a few years ago, following a divorce, and in CoD I often get to first or second place in games and always try to encourage folks.
One kid was getting rinsed for not being too good, and the kid was getting upset but I just told him to mute everyone else and listen to me, and was giving him advice on what to do, how to hide and play tactically, to follow me as I explained etc. He had a great time and actually enjoyed the game - because games should be FUN!
I tried playing games like Overwatch over the years, was even in the beta for it, and oh my goodness. I've not experienced, in about a decade, anything close to the level of toxicity of that community. Not to mention the incredible sexism that goes on! Don't even get my started on League of Legends...
Games are always way more fun when people are enjoying themselves. It's always more fun for me to make people laugh, putting on silly voices during the game, etc. those chuckles from the other end really make my day :)
I've noticed almost all multiplayer games are more fun if you don't interact with the other people.

1 things that's evident from what each one said, is you can clearly see the kids that have been raised to have morals and respect. Some were still nice even when they "tried" being horrible. Bless them!

Cyberbullying and trolling are completely different things though. This video was all about the former. Trolling is when someone makes a statement or asks a question intended to cause outrage, heated debates or outright fights, and then either backs off to watch the mayhem or stays in to fuel the fire further.

My niece carried her old flip phone for years beyond everyone getting smartphones. In school, she said she liked it because nobody would steal it. It wasn't until her first year of University that she had to get a smartphone because so many things there were on her Univ. account. So she loved telling everyone when she was 20 that her parents bought her her first smart phone for Christmas because everyone else was on their 2nd or 3rd upgrade already.
Why do I feel like I can already get a sense of the type of parents these kids have?
