This is not how the series creator wanted the show to end,but I think its actually a deep ending. They basically poisoned their own planet to make it not worth a more powerful enemy sticking around. Its a huge risk since they don't know what this stuff will do long term.
In fact the tv series show the stuff start to mutate and affect the environment and possibly human beings as well.

I pretend the tv show didn't happen. I was happy it was on at the time, but later I find both miniseries works as a complete story that doesn't need anything more.

cool music looks like after searching youtube videos of this balloons in the air and hot air balloons in the air releasing red dust in the air to have food and water clean again to this cool music that ill save the day and upload that part that non one seems to have on youtube videos but they have every thing else ps God Bless ps it reminds me of Revalations

No entiendo por qué no sacaron en su época el Soundtrack en vinilo. Así como hicieron en las demás series o películas como Depredador , Creepshow, Halloween y muchos más que tienen una duración de más de 1 hora de banda sonora 😰
