1990 PBA Budweiser Touring Players Championship held at Taylor Lanes in Taylor, Michigan. The first match features Scott Devers versus David D'Entremont. The second match features Mike Miller versus Scott Devers. The third match features Duane Fisher versus Scott Devers. The championship match features Jess Stayrook versus Duane Fisher.

Jay called bowling really well, he is known for his golf commentary but I always preferred him to Chris Schenkel to be quite honest.

Did NBC do a similar time slot as ABC did with the Winter/Summer Tour?

Yes. Back then, the PBA had three distinct seasons of TV coverage, which was done in the same 90-minute format. ABC covered the early months, ESPN carried the summer months, and NBC the fall/winter months. In fact, the NBC coverage mirrored the ABC coverage in another way. Just as ABC's coverage was the lead-in to Wide World of Sports, NBC's fall/winter coverage led into SportsWorld, which was their version of Wide World of Sports.
In addition, the bulk of NBC's golf coverage back then also was in that part of the year, mainly to take advantage of the fact that Vin Scully, who was NBC's lead golf commentator from 1983-'89, could do as much of their golf coverage as possible, and so they did much of their golf coverage in the late-fall and winter, so as not to interfere with his covering MLB for NBC. And he and Lee Trevino made an underrated team. It wasn't until 1988 that NBC got a significant men's golf event, the Players Championship.

Just how much more PBA bowling did Duane Fisher do after this tournament? I believe he participated in the 1991 Firestone Tournament of Champions, but I don’t know about any other tournaments that he might have competed in.
