Tate will get out someday, these parole hearings are a joke, just give tate a sentence let him serve it and let him go when he has paid his debt to society. The programs they offer in prison are a joke. Not only that they dont matter because parole will make them take the exact same classes upon release. I think the point that tate was trying to articulate but couldnt was that he doesnt appreciate being spoken down to and judged by people that dont know him. it is not illegal to be angry. the guy sabotaged himself by getting 22 disciplinary reports. if tate is so dumb that he cant trick some 15 dollar an hour rent-a-cops and some pompous parole board members than he deserves the full stay. if your in a state that has parole like this then you have to be on your best behavior in order to get out of their clutches. cmon man, they are putting on a front that they are not corrupt and have the communities best intrests in mind so why cant you put on a front that you are sorry and want to be a good member of society. If you choose to break the law, learn how to navigate the system.

Inside him is a hurt child, now he is an adult who is protecting that inner child so that child is NEVER hurt again.
I feel sorry for him. He needs healing. He needs help with the trauma that made him this way.
I feel sorry for his victims too.
At least he's not a woman or child beater.
He needs mental help and learn to heal his inner child withouth hurting others and by extension, himself.
My opinion may be unpopular, but you know I'm right on a psychological level.
Also, being in prison, you have to be tough unless you want to be abused by other inmates. He needs to survive.
And it's really hard to survive in prison by being tough and not taking any crap, and at the same time be able to just switch your personality back into a "normal" guy.
He really needs serious help and I hope he can get that, and that he can get out of prison one day as a whole person with trauma healed and not so full of anger. Anger he needed to survive.

That is on my list of why he botched his hearing as well.
The other reasons I speculated were that he would be expected to work and be responsible. He might have a bunch of baby mamas that will want child support.
He hurt someone elderly and the family members may have it out for him.
I think most likely its a bit of all of it. He probably has no one on the outside, has likely never had a real job or apartment or been expected to be responsible his entire adult life and he's cozy enough where he is.
Im just glad he is locked up.

A lot of these guys have reached a point where the only thing that they can control is how a hearing goes. And this guy appears determined to seize control of the subject and the topic and what is said about it. He also doesn't believe that he's going to be given parole, so he's shutting down the process and getting attention and building up his ego a little bit. I don't judge him for it, this is kind of what happens when you put a human being into custody. After a few months or years of incarceration, people change. They adjust to the limited reality and they become really hateful.

He don't need to get out period. If you see his demeanor in prison just imagine him out in the streets.

It's going to be a hell no. Man, he couldn't even fake it for a few minutes. Just so obvious he's super far from changing. Denied!
