They are so good together, I was so fortunate to have seen them live last year and they were amazing!!!! I know Marketa is going solo now, but I hope every so often they will work together again. Los AMOS!!!
You know, I commented on another site that I liked this version better than Van Morrison's and got grief over that. But I have to say, Van Morrison is a genius, hall-of-famer, if you will. But i like this because it is two people sharing the feelings. Maybe not technically, musicality as good, but I really like this. Saw them live last July at Winnipeg Folk Fest.
I saw their performance at Saratoga Performing Arts Center in August; they have so much chemistry. The sound system stank, but that didn't stop them. They opened at a festival with Levon Helm and Bob Dylan headlining, and were such a great "Pre Levon" act!
the limited edition CD has two extra tracks including 'Into The Mystic' and 'The Healing Has Begun'. the bonus DVD with the soundtrack is a music DVD of a few extra performances by Swell Season including Falling Slowly, Lies, When Your Mind's Made Up and If You Want Me (it's not a DVD of the movie 'Once').

I agree. Nothing against van but wow they are simply perfect together. And Glenn always adds this amazing energy to his art.
