What Does Guinea Bissau Countryside Look Like?Senegal to Bissau Roadtrip🇸🇳
Vložit
- čas přidán 13. 06. 2021
- Guinea-Bissau is a tropical country on West Africa’s Atlantic coast that’s known for national parks and wildlife. The forested, sparsely populated Bijagós archipelago is a protected biosphere reserve. Its main island, Bubaque, forms part of the Orango Islands National Park, a habitat for saltwater hippos. On the mainland, the capital, Bissau, is a port with Portuguese colonial buildings in its old city center.
The distance from Jegue border to Bissau is about 130km. It takes about 3 and half hours drive due to the poor state of the roads. Which is surprising because along the way there's about 5police stops where you will have to pay for the road at every stop. It's also advisable to have a 4 wheel drive especially during rainy season.
So let's talk a little bit about Guinea Bissau. Did you know that Guinea Bissau official language is Portuguese but is spoken by only about 11% of the population. The local dialect is creole
2. The main form of foreign exchange is Cashew nuts. Some people call it the cashew coast of Africa
3. 80% of the population is employed in Agriculture with cashewnuts be in my the major two ethnic groups being Fulani being at 28% and balanta at 23%,

@@wisidondomingosdomingo8427 hello 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪you from which part
Guinea-Bissau 🇬🇼 is the largest exporter of cashew 170,000 tons. The farmers here only get 10,000 CFA per sack but the content is worth £1000. If any can come to Guinea-Bissau 🇬🇼 and produce the byproducts of cashew here, that would create jobs and increase the standard of living. That would be better than robbing the people👊🏿👌🏿👍🏿
Your channel is the real deal my brother. Hope one day you can license your footage to a major network for a series. Stay blessed 🙏🏾👊🏾
What are the procedures to invest there..
Yes this is the truth, and the cashew nuts here in Europe is very expensive.
@@TyroneBlackman7 If the price for the rights are okay, no problem
@@traceyjohnson3925 First come, then see what is what and asks questions👊🏿👌🏿👍🏿

Your BEST produced travel vlog content in the longest time! In many level. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I think you are finally finding your footing and travel style production.
Please don't second guess yourself and do unrelated contents.
I really enjoyed this. It was real. It was beautiful. The drive into Bissue, the informative narrative, the footage, the choice of background music were on point 👌🏾
Thank you so much. I'm happy , I enjoy travel and adventure Content.
I'm happy . Thank you for always supporting 🤗
Number one👌🏿👊🏿👍🏿
I agree. A good choice of background sound, as well as editing skills actually gives life to a good story.
Just a thank you to you African Tigress, & Temdri World. I have literally traveled the W.Africa with you guys. Looking forward for more.
You are welcome!
Gambia nd Bissau looks like coast region. Mangoes 👌❤
They have it all👊🏿👌🏿👍🏿
Why are the cashew nuts harvested in GB and then exported, only to be sold back to GB?!
Love the two countries
My first time to see Guinea-Bissau 🇬🇼 on video 🤓❤️👍
It is a very beautiful country 👌🏿👊🏿👍🏿
Which one of the holes you were in?
God be with you my sister us your fans were abit worried but African Bushman took care of you he is such a lovely heart God bless his soul. Greetings to Mr. African Bushman. Safe explorations.
I am glad you are safe.It is so Beautiful out there. There are some places that look like you are in Kenya,Uganda or Tanzania. The similarity is amazing. Thank God your trip is going well.Glad to see the bushman with you
Thank you for showing this country. I’m looking forward to the next episode.
Bissao nando!!! Luv my country guinea bissao. You will love to travel and visit the country because it's authentic and not so developed like the other countries that mimic the western world. You will see some of an authentic side of Africa. Guinea bissao culture is big, bold and beautiful. Stay safe and enjoy your trip to my beautiful and lovely city of bissao. ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏😀😀😀😁😁😁🤗🤗🤗
Guiné Bissau is not an isolated country. Yes, we do have elements of European/Western influence in our national language (Crioulo), which in terms of lexicon is about 80% Portuguese, and in our culture. We do have 100% african culture side by side with traditions inherited from the Europeans during many centuries of colonial rule. I am proud of both!
@@crioulom120 yes indeed we are not isolated but I said the country is not so developed not the culture. Our culture is a blend of African native language and Portuguese for the language and the other stuff. I'm proud too, but the authentic African side like in the bijagos, you cannot see that everywhere. 👍👍👍👍
Guinea-Bissau 🇬🇼 is the hidden gem of the world, with so much beauty to absorb from everywhere 👌🏿👊🏿👍🏿
Being authentic doesn't have to mean being underdeveloped.
@@crioulom120Many centuries? For how long was Guinea Bissau colonized?
Thank GOD for you getting there safe . Thank you for taking us on the journey with you and Mr.M we met him in Gambia he is very positive.
You are welcome
You are welcome, I am trying to improve myself👍🏿👊🏿👌🏿

I hope everything's okay , when I saw ur last vid, me as a bissau guinean I felt shame the way the bissau guinean border police mistreated u , I'm very sorry ....
Are you in Bissau now?
Aw
@@AFRICANTIGRESS No, I live in Portugal , I've never been to Guinea unfortunately. Again , I'm very sorry the way you were treated dear sister.
All border police treats people like that. Money is in their mind all the time and believe people have money trees in the West.
Love traveling with you and getting educated along the way! Great music, safe travels, journey well and Bless up to your Escort✊
Thank you
Your playlist is fire. You have a great travel buddy. Content is also on point. Blessings to both of you.

I liked before watching evn though l came late have been wanting to see what happened next thanks for sharing. We are with you girl keep on keeping on and Africa to the world....
Thank you Shamiso
Bissau is my favorite country, next to my Country l, Sierra Leone. Very simple country, love the landscape. And love the small family homes all over Bissau, and really cool people. No one really speaks Portuguese, more Local languages and Criolo, I speak some Spanish, so I can understand a lot off it, surprisingly. And like all Guinea Coast countries, we have much open, almost untouch areas, that are gorgeous.
You know what you are talking about, I love you knowledge. Guinea-Bissau 🇬🇼 is paradise👊🏿👌🏿👍🏿
Did you know that Crioulo is about 85% Portuguese? It is broken Portuguese, and it is ineligible with Portuguese...And if you know crioulo and pay attention you can understand spanish too...I am a native speaker, so take it from me bro...
Hats off to Mansa for being so kind and humble all through.

Because women have to practice safety measures in EVERY society..

I will not complain again about the state of Kenyan roads😊
Kenya is South Africa standard and Nairobi look like an American city
That why Kenya is the second place in Africa for investment

I moved with my parents to guinea bissau when I was 1.5 year and stays untill i was 5.. I spoke the language, played with the Village boys. I think the Village I used to play at was called Tabanka?
I experienced a shooting one time, think there still was some civil war back then...
Great upbringing that shaped me in a positive way. I now live in sweden
This was beautiful - I think I need to visit because I didnt know that cashew was so popular here - It is a base ingredient for a product I would like to attempt - I love how their homes are not barricaded in by perimeter walls - I am not a fan of creating little prison compounds all over the place - It kills community - Thank you for sharing - Love TemdriWorld - Thank him also for taking care of you
