Good stuff, man. I did my 88's 8.8 axles about a year ago. I used the same tools and I have to say that they do make it almost easy. Also, I never thought there were limited slip 7.5s.
@@thefoxchamber It looked like it had clutch packs. Real easy to verify- with the rear end raised, spin wheel on one side, if the opposite side spins in the same direction, it's limited slip.
Looks great. Something ive always been taught and do is I apply red and tacky grease on the bearings. We would get twice the life out of them on our circuit cars.
Really a nice looking car you have man. ? Tho. Those axle bearings rely solely on dif fluid for lubricant? No grease even for initial few miles? And what size are those rear wheels? They look sick, I’m having an issue fitting 15x10s on my car even tho lethal says they should fit
Are you sure thats a 7.5, everything about that is 8.8 Shock mounts are 8.8, 7.5 do not have quad shock mounts either unless someone welded those on as well
@thefoxchamber yeap, I'm saying tht bc im a trucker myself. And there r certain things a person can say tht certain people can pick up on. Maybe I'm wrong. But I'm jst saying. Lol. Lol
@thefoxchamber when you got to talking about your brakes and stuff. And just how you were naming the parts off. Like you were talking to a DOT officer or explaining the ways how a trucker will explain certain parts on there truck

Did it look like a limited slip in the video?
Asking for a friend, lol

I did put dif fluid on off camera.

@lambchopLSX87 lol, I did put some gear oil on the bearings I didn't record putting it on. That was my bad. Rears are 295 35 18 on a 5x10.5 wheel
👀
Beauty may be skin deep, but ugly goes straight to the bone…. Redd Foxx
Hahahaha 😆 😂 😆
Could you tell me what spring and shock combo you have Sir from LMR?
Sr performance coilovers v2
American muscle
Check the spring rate on em
Are you sure thats a 7.5, everything about that is 8.8

I'll have to check again, but the little I do know says it's a 7.5.
7.5s do have quad shocks. 85s came with both.
Looking mean kat...
Thanks Wendell 👊🏾
Man r u a truck driver. I heard sumnt i really only hear truckers say.
