    United weren't robbed but it was a reckless tackle, out of control and endangering another player. If that had been Casemiro lunging into that tackle he would have been sent off. City were the better team and deserved to win but didn't need a twelfthman, or even thirteenth to do it.

    • @garfield2193
      @garfield2193 Před 3 měsíci

      The tackle was clean, in that Ederson won the ball. And, crucially, it was low, as in it was with one foot slid across the ground, to reduce any danger to the opponent. If Ederson's sprinting at full pace to make the challenge, how is he supposed to reduce the force, or avoid making contact with the other player in the follow-through? You're basically arguing that he shouldn't 've made the tackle at all. Looked like a fair call IMO. Andy Madeley is top-3 referees in the Prem I reckon, he's usually v reliable & fair.

      @@garfield2193 you can't make a two footed tackle when you are off the ground with both feet and out of control, there have been fouls giving against players ever when they made no contact with player or ball, simple fact he wasn't in control. Typical ETH and ManU fans blaming refs for the loss. Even though they parked the bus against a top team, and had less percentage points of possession than shots they allowed to City 😭 But yes it was questionable calling in the second half that lost them the game. I’m still looking for evidence that either is a foul in this video

    • @Badger-8154
      @Badger-8154 Před 3 měsíci +6

      Then you must be blind. That tackle from Ederson is reckless and out of control. If that's McTominay on Rodri in the middle of the pitch, it's a foul and at least a yellow card, maybe even a red. You cannot tackle like that in today's game, whether you get the ball or not. The ref absolutely bottled it.
      The Rashford one is debatable, but is it any less of a foul than the penalty City got when Hojlund did something similar to Rodri earlier this season? I don't think so. I don't mind it not being given, I think it'd be soft, but it's irritating when they get decisions and we don't for similar things.
