While ten hag is trying to be Harder on these players, considering the fact that most of them are supposed to be "stars". And you can actually see some improvement in term of attitude, ten hag is trying to retrain all these players to have better attitude and mentality. Jose tried the same, guess what happened to him? I've said it for ages. Cristiano Ronaldo ruined Ole's united.
    His agent engineered the move by teasing city. United's hands were tied. CR7 then dominated the dressing room, took Maguire's authority, took the hard-working Cavani's place. Demanded the attack would be all about him, stifled Bruno's creativity and output, left when it was clear the club were in the shit. Utterly pathetic for who was supposed to be still one of the best players in the world.
    "But he scored loads of goals" - Yeah, at the expense of the rest of the team. Cavani scored plenty of goals, but he worked for the team and his movement up front was still one of the best in the world, if not the best. Pulling defences to give Martial, Greenwood and Rashford chances. I have no doubt Sancho would have been better if Ronaldo didn't join too.

    Ole the only manager to score 6+ goals in a game since SAF.
    Ole scored 5+ goals in a game 10 times, all other managers 2 combined.
    Jose claimed finishing 2nd to city by 19 points was his greatest achievement, Ole finished second by 12 so that must be a greater achievement.
    Woodward was the problem, he wanted that last big signing before leaving so he brought back Ronaldo a player of the past and not the future. I believe Ole wanted someone younger who would be the future of the club, but he got Ronaldo. He scored goals but negatively affected the way the team played. Also many of the players that bottle it under pressure would have been gone by now had he remained in charge, instead they were passed on to another manager who then has to deal with them. Players and so called fans threw him under the bus and subjected the club to yet another period of transition as another new manager comes in. Now the wheels are falling of his bus as the team can’t seem to score goals without conceding them in droves. Goal difference now teeters between minus & break even showing just how bad United are at scoring & keeping clean sheets.
    After 10 game win his final season Ole was 5th having just lost to City, two games later he was sacked in 8th. After 10 games this season ETH was 8th after losing to City & yet the position deemed a sacking for Ole after 12 games was fine for ETH after 10 games, maybe Ole should have been given the time that ETH is now getting to turn it around.
    And let’s not get into the owners whose toxicity is like a lead weight around the neck of the club. Look how well another team is doing since getting shot of their crappy owner. Then we have Radcliffe & whatever he touches sports wise turning to crap.

Ole may not be the greatest manager. From the lot of managers that we had since Sir Alex, his team was the best. The problem is when few matches are lost, let that be the case for any manager,the "noise" emerges to sack him without trusting his vision. And I really cant stand these veterans of Manchester United who sits in the front of camera and I instigate the fans and let down the morale of the team everytime they lose.

Now swallow the facts buddy, and stop the hate !

  • @Discornosaurus
    @Discornosaurus Před 4 měsíci +28

    The biggest problem that United ever had since SAF retired has been the lack of patience from the manager and favouring the player's ego instead. The current squad that we have has all the talent we need to compete at top level and winning trophies and not to mention giving nightmares to big teams. However, most if not all of them players are playing without passion and respect. They don't even seem to care that they are playing for Manchester United. For them it's just another day at the office.
    Ole was good for an inexperienced manager, but imagine what we could have achieved under Jose Murinho if we had given him time?! I'm confident he would have won us at least one or two premier league. But no, players thought they were bigger than the manager, led a silent mutiny whilst being on the pitch and eventually got Jose out.
    Ten Hag inherited a totally dysfunctional team and still won us a cup with some of his additional recruits and not to mention we managed to qualify for the Champions League. Also the same squad who knocked Barcelona out of the Europa League last season, a team who was sitting on top of its league at the time and had more cohesion and drive than Man Utd. This season's recruits are really good and will become even better but due to some cancerous players, the right mentality and team cohesion is not clicking. So for the board and the fans the only way to do things is to sack Ten Hag and bring another manager. Then the new manager will have a good first season then back to square one.
    Jurgen Klopp didn't became one of the best manager of the premier league overnight, it took time and patience. Now just look at Liverpool.
    Same thing for Arteta. Patience was key and look at Arsenal now.

    In ETH era, people blame the players to be lazy and all, but is it solely because of them? or the way the manager treat them? People have different kind personalities and not everyone prefer the hard, stiff, dictator way ETH did. Some can adapt of course, (again, depends on their personality) but some just can’t. It’s like you work under the boss that doesn’t click with you and hold different values that clashes with you all the time. No way you can be happy. Also, the team spirit is shattered.

    What i still can't understand... why not with counter attack as one of the main weapons... why do those people really hate it... is Tiki taka or something like it always the right thing ? .... fact Ole didn't always use it. and i remember they (the players) really enjoyed their games... they're really entertaining. so flowing...
    the only problem for me Ole didn't really well handle the low block tactics team. but who can ? it is based on players ability. not really on manager tactics... that's why he bought players like Sancho. he's trying...
    i skipped Ronaldo seasons, bcause i think it complicated things for him. so many factors changed drastically really fast. and people ignored that he was an immature manager... he should grow up with his players... and otherwise... Sir Alex has done it like that.
    unfortunately for him, the trophy didn't come fast.

      Like u said, i like man utd play some based counter attacking or direct football rather we play some possession based football like now. They we're so clinical with some counter attacking style of play. Like SAF manage them before 😢. Just bring this type of play back again. We can't adapt like how ETH want the team to play tho.

    Solskjaer has a winning record over the Spaniard, winning four and losing just three of their eight meetings. In fact, Solskjaer is the only manager to face Guardiola at least four times and have more wins than defeats.

    Sometimes is not about the tactics you install to your team..but what you always tell your players. How you encourage them. Ole was the guy with less tactics as a manager but he united our squad more than all other managers we had ever since alex.
    We could play a good game🎉🎉🎉

    I hope Ole doesn’t look back at his United career with regret. He massively over performed in his manager position in which basically anybody that stepped into his job would be sacked.

  • @weetak
    @weetak Před 4 měsíci +1

    Ole made the dressing room happy and that reflected in performances and result. Not as ruthless as Sir Alex but Ole is managing in a different era. Not only he did the best against City, he was the only manager that 1) made Man Utd occupy 1st spot in league table (albeit only 1 week) 2) gone through an entire season without defeat away from home in the league 3) got Utd into 3 semi finals in his first full season in charge 4) 1 European cup final in his second season. He did made some mistakes but I would say I enjoyed his second and third full season very much. The signing of Ronaldo actually spoilt the work ethics (hard running McFred and James). He started off the last season well with 5-1 win over Swansea but the dynamics really went wrong once Ronaldo in. Had Ole played that season with Cavani, Greenwood and James...it would have been a hard working front 3. With Martial, Rashford and Sancho offering another front 3 that gives guile and skill.
