Keweenaw Peninsula - Bare Bluff in Autumn

Clouds interfered with a predawn hike up to Bare Bluff to catch the sunrise but the colors of autumn more than made up for the lack of sun.
This is a relatively easy hike from the parking area and I highly recommend it. There's some elevation changes, but it's not bad at all. The view of Lake Superior from the the cliffs of the bluff is so peaceful and, if it's clear, you can see the Huron Mountains to the south. Being that it's the south side of the Keweenaw Peninsula, the water is usually calm in comparison to the north side. If you're up for even more adventure, continue the trail to Montreal Falls. I have yet to do this hike, but I'm planning on doing it the next time I'm in the Keweenaw.
