Trying Out My New 360 Camera on the Kayak
I recently purchased an Insta360 X4. I wanted to try it out on the kayak to get a few ideas of what it was capable of and how I could use it to be more creative in the content I make. It definitely gives a different perspective while mounted where I usually mount my GoPro.
I also purchased Insta360's Extended Edition Selfie Stick that extends to almost 10 feet. 10 feet is entirely too long to use on the kayak, but hanging it out of the side gives a great perspective and I'll never be in a spot where the stick doesn't extend enough for what I need.

Early July Bass Fishing in Michigan
zhlédnutí 111Před 16 dny
I spent 4th of July camping out at the lake and made time for a lot of fishing. It's been a rough summer for fishing as I have caught very little. That changed on this weekend when I caught some good size largemouth on two different lakes.

Enchanted Rock

A little tour of Enchanted Rock State Natural area via the summit trail. I visited Texas in April to see family and the eclipse. I made sure visiting Enchanted Rock was part of the itinerary. When I lived in Texas, I frequented this park a lot. It was my playground. The park offers so many places to explore with plenty of wildlife viewing and various climbing/bouldering spots. There's even a ca...
My Solar Eclipse Experience

Join me on the kayak as I ramble on about one of the most amazing things I've experienced, the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse! Describing this event and/or viewing images and footage of it does not do it justice. It's something you have to experience on your own. Still, I'll go into detail on what led to me taking my family across the country to view this event. We drove to Texas originally and then ...

Keweenaw Peninsula - Bare Bluff in Autumn
zhlédnutí 18Před 4 měsíci
Clouds interfered with a predawn hike up to Bare Bluff to catch the sunrise but the colors of autumn more than made up for the lack of sun. This is a relatively easy hike from the parking area and I highly recommend it. There's some elevation changes, but it's not bad at all. The view of Lake Superior from the the cliffs of the bluff is so peaceful and, if it's clear, you can see the Huron Moun...

Awesome video man! Your videos are very well done and I love watching! I make fishing videos as well and it’s cool to see what you’re up to!! Keep up the good job!👌👌
Thanks! Just subscribed to yours and watched a few. Enjoyed yours as well!
Cheers, Wes! So awesome to hear about your experience and so glad you got to witness totality. Greatly appreciate the shoutout! Can't wait until the next total solar!!
Golden gate bridge will Collapse?
This was the most validating video to watch. People that have not seen one just can’t understand why I can’t stop talking about it. We had just over three minutes in Evansville… totally going to watch again. We plan to watch somewhere in our home state, Alabama during the 2045 eclipse. I would love to travel to see one before. Just like everyone says, pictures and video just don’t catch it. It was indescribably magnificent. Thank you for sharing… yes I watched every minute of this video. I’m going to check out that podcast.
Thanks Ray! So glad you got to see totality and thanks for watching the entirety of of my video. I've spoken with a few people who didn't know that there's a big difference between partial and total. Even 99% and 100% is so different. Hopefully stories like ours can help inspire people to see the next one whenever they are able.
Pure Michigan!
The world is boiling.
Wow nice images ! Kinda feels like nostalgia
Thanks!
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Wonder when it will collapse….
Incredible shots. Love this.
Thanks Josh!
Who think its fake you wrong its REAL;!
Yes there are bridges now that are bigger, taller and longer than ever before, but it was this bridge that set the bar on just how massive these types of bridges can be. Therefore the Golden Gate Bridge will always be number one in my book.
Only thing I saw move was the camera
Did you see something?
I remember during the 80s when the Golden Gate had to be shut down because it was swaying, Swaying noticeably. The local news set up cameras at both ends of the bridge showing the roadway undulating and rolling up and down.... strangest thing I've ever seen there. I have yet to find any footage of that....
This looks like 1987
It is not gold, and I don't see any gate.
Gertie: Hold my beer.
Wow I never knew it moved that much . Been across it many times ..now I'll be looking at it especially when walking across the bridge. Lol crazy.
Golden Gate: "See Gertie? When you dance in the wind, you have to do it calmly." 1940 Tacoma Narrows Bridge: "Glug glug glug."
Imagine collecting 5$ per car in a day 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰

It flexed because I ran so fast to save the planet you couldn't even see me
Trust me, the Golden Gate Bridge was windy as fuck! we were at the top of the 2nd floor bus!
I definitely know. I've ridden my bike over it many times. Sometimes I would have to walk it in the middle of the span.
2011 "Boing boing boing boing" 2020 "WhuuuuuuuUUUUUUUUUUUoooooooooUUUUUUUUoooooooooooooooo"
I didn‘t see it at first. But you need to focus on the red painted light „line“ that builds a bow between the big pylon in the front and the one in the back. You can see the sides of the bridge swinging up and down pretty fast! Looking into the middle of the pavement didn‘t make me see it (as someone else told to do). Liked! Unfortunately a lot of people nowadays have the attention and the observation skills span of a fish.
Back in 1987, when the bridge turned 50, there were so many pedestrians walking across that the main span actually flattened out. Engineers did some calculating and said there was no danger.
Wow! That's really cool. Would have loved to see that happen.
I remember that quite well.
It flexes, but does it scratch at a level 6 with deeper grooves at a level 7 on Moh's scale of hardness?
Maybe
Where I live the Verrazano Bridge flexes more and it makes noise like from a horror movie
Wow I see it if I look directly at the road towards the middle of the bridge, it moves up and down! That's crazy, and to think that this was engineered before a time when things could be simulated on a computer before construction. Amazing.
Just Cade I need to look at the line of street lights in the back to be able to see the bouncing 😉 I also found out the bridges architect was from german origin. But lets also pay tribute to the simple people and construction workers who worked their asses off to place this giant beauty safely where it sits today👍
they have to move to release the stresses from traffic and wind!
I cant see it :(
I wonder do the sidewalks go completely across the bridge ?🤔
They do! I've rode my bike across many times. On the west side (right side in this video), is the bike side and the opposite side is for foot traffic. Going north on the bridge, it's an easy escape from the city into the Marin Headlands.
Wow! No idea it wobbled that much! Amazing!!
Couldn't see it until I focused my eyes at the top of the screen. That's amazing footage.
It's easy to see if you look at the line of lights on each side too.
Nice shot!
