Wow. A man I have loved and admired through his music for as long as I can remember sings for myself and my co-workers. This is the best day I have had in a long time. The best gift ever. Don't ever change, James. Thank you, to your whole family.
James, so grateful this was a family act! We’ve loved you since our teens, and we are so glad the Lord was merciful to you, brought you through the dark times, and gave you a wife and children and length of days! Always good to hear you play the guitar; love your chords and picking. So glad you’ve exercised the marvelous gift God gave you! And glad that your son seems to have the same gift, too! Hugs and kisses to you all.
When I met you and your wife anonymously in Brookline, I had no idea who you were. I thought you were an accountant or lawyer. Turns out I was talking to my idol, a man whose lyrics have filled me with inspiration and given me hope, brightened up even my darkest nights. Your song here provides comfort in the one of the hardest times for us all. Beautiful, organic, simple and full of sounds and rhythms - there is no equal. Thank you and your family. Thanks to the brave healthcare workers who work through exhaustion day and night to keep us healthy.
Impossible to say how much this means to us James. Your music has been the soundtrack to my life since high school/the 1970’s. How wonderful to see you so obviously content with your beautiful family. Thank you!

Thank you ever so much; we still play your vinyl records at our home. Mr. Taylor serendipitously sat next to me at Christmas Eve mass once, about 20 years ago; that was special. This is even more so.
Wow, that was truly lovely. Your family sounds wonderful. I have been listening to your songs for 40 years or more. They are a real part of my life in a special way. Many years ago I used to worry about you. It didn't seem like you were very happy. That is why it gives me great joy to see you now. I think (without really knowing) that the later half of your life has been very good to you and perhaps gentled you to a real place of peace and contentment, and happiness.
I wish I had seen this earlier. Better late than never! What a great tribute to the health care workers during a difficult time. It brought tears to my eyes. I didn't think I could love James Taylor any more than I already did, but alas, I do!
I came to work this morning and heard this, one of my favorite songs. It has new meaning now. Thank you, James Taylor for thinking of all of us here at Mass General Brigham.
Great to see you and your family in such a blessed good place on life. I am a retired RN (with survival guilt in these times) alone but not lonely, especially after hearing this decades-long favorite. Thank you so very much, and be well.
Wow, that was beautiful. Thank you for sharing yourselves with us. Your kindness and generosity knows no boundaries. Your sons (young men) are good looking! Good health and happiness to you all!
I Love to see his family filled with joy and love. Thank You for bringing a great song, and giving an excellent example and teacher of love and support to our future childrens' children. Thank You, James!!👍

James, you are a wonderful person, an extremely talented, yet humble master of your craft. Your music has impacted me in so many ways throughout my life. You have pulled me out of some very dark places and inspired me to be a better person. I just want to thank you from my heart. I try to listen to you every day but lately have missed a few. MGH is the best! As a Firefighter/Paramedic in the Metro-Boston area, I can first-hand say, we have the best hospitals in the world. As a dad of a son with special needs, what more could I ask for than Children’s Hospital Boston. Just left BIDMC on a run actually. Oh, and don’t forget the holy grail of mental healthcare, Good Ole’ McLean! I owe my life to them! One of the best behavioral health programs for First Responders in the country. Mr. Taylor... You’ve been an incredible source of healing for our community. I was there back in April 2013, at Officer Sean Collier’s Memorial service when you “Showered” us with your always humble love for your fellow human beings. My Brothers and Sisters in my station were First Due for responses at MIT and work closely with their PD. It hit our whole community really hard on top of the marathon bombings. One of the godsends during that time was that humble guy who I think took the “Turnpike from Stockbridge to Cambridge” to let us know “things were going to work out fine....”. You weren’t lying brother! Forever grateful for your presence that day, Best of health and happiness to your family! Cheers
Wonderful job by the Taylor clan... I've always loved this song. One of my favorite James T creations. First time I heard it, Graham Nash sang it at a Seton Hall concert here in NJ. It had just come out and Graham loved it and wanted to play it for us. Got about half-way through and messed up the chords and stopped, saying something like, "Well you get it; it's a beautiful song!" Or something close to that.
So heartfelt to hear from this good-hearted family. They are all so well spoken and poised and the boys are so respectful.. I'm struck by what talented singers they all are, yet harmonize perfectly together, much like Peter, Paul and Mary. Blessings to James and his beautiful wife and sons.
