I’m a Pakistani; still it’s really interesting & enjoyable debate to watch. Both India and Pakistan didn’t do justice to their leaders who did so much for them. I’m sure Patel wouldn’t have liked to see his statue worth 30bn rupees to be erected. I wish both countries should TELL TRUTH to its citizens so the citizens should know TRUE HISTORY!
हमें भी बहुत खुशी अनुभव हो रहे की हम राजमोहन गांधी जी को बहुत नजदीक से देखा। करीब 2 साल पहले वह त्रिपुरा यूनिवर्सिटी में आए थे। इतिहास की बहुत सारे पहलू जो भारत की स्वतंत्रता संग्राम व गांधी जी की जीवन के साथ जुड़े हुए थे जानने को मिला था।
सरदार पटेल जी और पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू जी दोनों देश के महान नेता थे जिन्होंने अपने कर्म त्याग और बलिदान से आजाद भारत का निर्माण किया। दोनों में किसी एक को दूसरे से नीचा या ऊचा दिखाना या समझना अपनी खुद की समझ पर सवालिया निशान लगाने जैसा है।
हमें अपने इन और इन जैसे दूसरे और महानतम लोगों से बहोत कुछ सीखने की जरूरत है।

Nehru was an atheist and probably the most modern indian leader at that time...
He is the only politician in Indian history he campaigned throughout India for long time without refering to people's Identity (caste, religion, minority, majority, gender, regionalism or linguist)

That was not at all mistake. He was more in age he died just within 3 years and he was given job that only he was able to do and he did it splendidly. Managing home ministry and pm responsibility would have not been easy for him at that age.. Nehru was chosen for many reasons and his world contacts is one reason. Even in today’s fragmented atmosphere u can imagine how it was impossible to build a country like India after independence and partition.. Spreading facts without there overall reference and situation at the time is not being historian.
