They don't make em like this anymore folks. We love and miss you Gregg. We are not sad because we know you are with your brother and all the other rock legends who have passed.
I'm in tears. I've been deaf for 8 years, and I longed to hear this again. It was my only wish. I've made a cochlear implant earlier this year and now I can, with some difficulty, actually hear it. thanks, science.
I as well lost my hearing in only one ear. Sudden hearing loss . So I hold this close to my heart. Welcome back... may not be the same . But God bless. And what's better to hear than Greggs Voice
Always loved the Allman Brothers. Loved to hear Gregg sing . I am 59 and seen Gregg Allman at Duke University in 1975 paid 4.00 for a ticket one of the best concerts I ever seen. Then seen him again in Cary NC in 2015 also seen them in 1974 at the August Jam in Charlotte Motor Speedway. Will always love to hear Gregg Allman sing.
I saw the Allmans in 1975 70000 people in the Superdome in NO they were great wished I could have seen them with Duane... I named my daughter Melissa top
Damn I love ya man, trying hard to get on top of this song for my own Sweet Melissa. The song is simple, but I keep tripping over that lump in my throat.
Lise Woodall we named our daughter Jessica for their song. She was really close to being a Melissa mainly because this is my favorite Allman Brothers song.

Melissa. It is called Melissa. Just "Melissa".
B Neilson Yes! Not 'Sweet Melissa'. Just 'Melissa'. That's the way Gregg wrote it, and that's the way it'll be forever!
