RAVANA is considered as a god by sri lankan ethnic group called tamils , even many indians think that way, so they worship him in hindu temples but according to the major ethnic group of sri lanka, ravana is just a great king who ruled the island and not a god, sinhalese people also consider ravana as the forefather of them, tamils are south indian migrants who came and settle in sri lanka as trades developed between sinhalese kingdoms of anuradha pura and pulasti pura (polonnaruwa) and tamil nadu, 2 200 years ago(2 nd century BCE) sinhalese are believed to be half north indian and half native sri lankan yakkha tribe people, according to mahavamsa chronicle vijaya and his 700 male followers came from north india and married to native sri lankan queen '' kuweni'' and other native women and sinhalese ethnicity formed , ( sinhalese people arent north indians but their language totally is ) sinhalese first kingdom '' ANURADHA PURA KINGDOM'' is 2 600 years old and one of the oldest kingdoms in the world ,

The Moroccans, who are excellent seafarers, went there for millenia in their boats to buy gems. They may have used that wealth to capture the Spanish empire, too. Humans may not have fully understood the power of various particles coming from heaven, especially at dusk and down. However, Sri Lanka's ancestors may have had some idea; hence the taboos.
