Definitely prefer a character house.
This house is stunning, an absolute dream. However I would have added a bit more colour, it doesn’t show case the features as much with all the rooms being the same colours, and some traditional tiling would’ve been nice.
A real Georgian mansion, what a dreamy idea to live in it, I love those confusing corridor ,staircase and well ornamented fireplace.
Or grow the plants😌😌😌
Imagine what the Kings house must look like lol if this is just his gardeners house *mind blown*
Do you mean Buckingham Palace?
@@lewissmith3673 Hampton Court at this site
@@lewissmith3673 No, apparently that wasn't acquired until 1761 by George III. The house in the video was in George II's time. His royal residence, or one of them at least was Kew Palace.
@@nickb2122 Apparently by 1737 George II no longer wanted to use Hampton Court Palace as a royal palace. The property in the video dates back to 1743.
Imagine growing up in that house. Lots of places to play hide and seek :)
Amazing property!
I know right, and the park right out back that would be amazing to have as a kid
I would love to see some more grade listed homes. I would love to see a London townhouse traditional furnishings rather than a traditional house mixed with modern, it would be nice to see something that was truly as close to what it would have been like in the 18th or early 19th century. I’ve seen a lot of these properties for sale so they’re definitely out there
No one:
Literally no one:
Not a single soul:
Matt and Summer: Storage!
😂😂😂
Tbh probably most ppl with kids, or those who work from home, esp creative careers:
STORAGE!!! !!!
Aren't most people interested in storage?
I like a house with a bit of character. This is lovely 😍😍 Limao at you two trying capture the deer.😂
Hahaha it was so funny trying to catch it on camera
The only thing that really annoyed me is the downstairs toilet. The bathrooms they showed next were in a similar style to the house, but then that one toilet....
This is one of my favourites so far.. love all the secret stairs and the mix of modern traditional twists to fixtures.. the bathrooms are stunning..
Very interesting property. Love the stairs, the history and period features but the lack of private garden would be an issue for me.
agreed, its so easy for someone to just come up to your window. its actually quite scary haha
I wondered why all the shutters and blinds were down, the presenter clearly didn’t realise the huge downside of security when he pulled the curtains back to show bars on the windows! 😮
That was one lucky gardener. I can appreciate the original characters features.
Character properties are my favourite 😍 absolutely love this, it's stunning ❤️ it's a shame that it doesn't have a private garden though
It is absolutely stunning but it’s also super expensive 😅 btw if you’re interested I have videos from here and other cities where I travel🥰🙌🏻
I abolutely love this property. Class and sophistication at its finest. There is something so beautifully about old homes which are restored. I love the entrance, a few steps up from the pavement and then this gorgeous door. I have to say the owners did an amazing job with the interior. So beautifully done, from the floors to the colour scheme, the magnificent fireplaces. One word for it all : majestical. I just subscribed to your channel and can't wait to see more videos.
I used to ride from Wimbledon Common onto Richmond Park years ago. Not all the horses liked the deer, they'd be quite jittery. It was fabulous to have so much green space so close to London. One year a man was stopped and arrested for speeding - on a horse! I think this is the nicest house so far, but a garden would be nice too!
Absolutely loving your channel! Touring through the older houses makes my day, just brilliant! Thank you!
Thanks Derrick, beautiful house right
Favourite property, your videos have made me realise old and traditional are my faves. Love your tours xxxxx
Wonderful house Matt & Summer. Loving the older luxury houses. I’m sharing all your videos to friends. 👌👏
Beautiful home. Thank you for showing these classic period properties. They are my favourite
You’re welcome glad you liked it
For me, definitely contemporary 😊 enjoy your tours!
Another great tour and definitely my favourite property so far! Thanks guys, please keep the amazing content coming.😁
Yess!! This is what I'm talking about. Great home with lots of space but also great character! The levels of detail is super impressive. The only downside to me is the fact that the first kitchen is quite far away from the living room. I love the idea of having the kitchen look into the family room as it's really the heart of the home. But I love the idea of two kitchens.
Beautiful property....Great chemistry between Matt & Summer too!
Stunning and what a back garden Bushy Park 😁😁👍🏻
I love these long detailed house tours 😍
Wow, totally mind blowing property, enjoyed the tour, amazing to see the deer so near London as mentioned, we further north often see deer close to home.
This house is absolutely amazing.
It is worth a lot more than 6.5, I am surprised it was going for so little.
If I had the money I would be extremely happy with this home, it seems perfect.
Fabulous House - Such a beautiful characterful property, and lovely interiors too. The deer are an awesome bonus. Only down side was the ground floor windows onto the park from a security perspective, otherwise I love it. Great video again guys :-)
The interiors are my favorite part as well!
btw if you’re interested I have videos from here and other cities where I travel🥰🙌🏻
Love you two, your ]passion is catching. When selling a house its important to make it as neutral as possible and that has been done here. When you buy the house, then go to town with your colour.
By far the funniest and best tour the two presenters have made so far. Loved the house and the delivery.
Beautiful home beautifully presented and well priced for the area.
Wow this is my favourite house tour ❣️.. beautiful house
Thanks Matt and Summer, definitely our favourite house so far, we didn’t go much on the £13m house in St Pancras. Thus house was a lot better value - a great mix of old and new. Tony&Cathy, Brisbane
Excellent home. You both do such a fabulous tour job. Thank you. I'm definitely a character home lover!
Yay. Loving the period property. So much class
Omg the 🦌🦌🦌 that’s surely the best part of the house, totally worth the 6.5m. Lovely house ❤️
normally i dont like old fashioned houses cos there just not my type but i rlly like this one fsr its like mixed between old and modern and i love it x
Love the bedrooms, bathrooms and big solid doors
Wonderful house love period property's and original features This is stunning
I definitely prefer the older style homes. Great video, first time seeing you guys and I’m now a new subscriber
Loving the enthusiasm guys, keep the videos coming.
Such a grand property. Love the period charm 💗
It’s a typical old-school bougie London house 😍 btw if you’re interested I have videos from here and other cities where I travel🥰🙌🏻
New built houses are my favourite. 😊😊
Loving the character properties! My absolute favourite 🤩🤩
That wheel appears to bean old foodlift, supposedly to dinning room above..
Stunning home. Really enjoyed.
Hi I’m Aria from Los Angeles. I just have to say that the two of you have this amazing chemistry and I quite enjoy watching your video…
So nice! 💖💖💖
Omg, the lack of knowledge of these people is shocking considering they’re presenting property, ‘we love this historic property’, but they’ve no idea about why it’s laid out like that. A house like this would have had a large staff, living and working in the basement - hence two kitchens, a back stairs, pulley systems to get things upstairs. Instead of saying ‘let us know in comments what you think this is for’, how about doing some research, guys?
Lovely beautiful house, a dream house to me! TBH so big that don’t know how to clean it without helper! Thank you for showing us such a nice house! I m not living in England n don’t know if it is the right price but compare the house in Hong Kong this is stunning!
I feel like, cleaning the house on one's own could be a good routine to get into, as part of regular exercise/activity routine lol. It's doable. :p if you had the time. :)
I adore this house .... it’s so airy and spacious.... but I adore the deer a little more xx
I believe the well was either used as a food lift or maybe there use to be a water well so the wheel was used to get water out of well.
I love the older homes. They have more character. They make me wish that walls could talk.
Very nice. Interesting that Bushy Park is over 1,000 acres, wouldn't have guessed it was that big. King George II must have been well pleased with his gardener.
Delightful house tour.
You guys are amazing at what you do keep up the great work such positive vibes coming though 🤍🕊🤲🏽
Thank you 🙏🏼 sending positive vibes back ✌🏼
Lovely old house. Huge. I prefer the old houses rather than the contemporary ones but I also like my creature comforts. I would prefer the guest bedrooms to have en-suites but I’m not sure how many en-suites there were. Would have been nice to have a media room stuck in there somewhere. I prefer the term motor court rather than parking area
Amazing house!!
Love this place.
I think the wheel is a transfer wheel, for moving things from the top floor to the cellar, i.e cheese Game meats etc
This is beautiful
Love the content guys, I'm an apprentice residential surveyor myself. Id only dream to be involved with some of the properties you guys tour!
Basement is old servant's areas. Wheel is for a dumbwaiter
I would rather have the modern houses I think it just keeps everything more neat in the house💕, love your videos by the way
Love this video!
I really Miss life in London..Wish your channel a lot viewers and subscribers. God bless you. amen
SAME. London is my favourite place in the world. I miss it. 💜💜💜
I now live in Toronto. I do NOT recommend. Lol.
My decor would be different, but the architectural details are quite stunning. Love the older properties. Modern is devoid of warmth and character and can't be made cozy by any means.
Stunning house
Beautiful
This is almost as big as my university! It’s huge...warming such place must be EXPENSIVE! But having it as a family house for the holidays would be soo nice! Like 3 families in the house during Christmas or Summers holidays...enough of the daydreaming lol
Heating must be a problem as there was a portable electric radiator in the kitchen 😅
47 Singh I peeps that too 😅
Modern for sure!
Wowwwwww I really need a house like this
The wheel in the cellar room is what is left of what was once a dumb-waiter up to the dining room to take food up from what was once the house kitchen next door.
Nice to see how the other half live as they say. However it’s nice to watch even as a working class individual and see what’s out there.
The property is a maze and just the master suite is much bigger than a 1 bed flat in London. I live not far from there and Bush Park is my favourite.
If you come across a Huff Haus would be great to see a video.
A Favorite! I must say. Loved all those different stairs pleanty of space to run around. Does the property come with Ghost or two. LOL Cheers!
Nah doesn't feel ghosty tbh. Which is good lol.
I grew up in "haunted" places. I feel energy etc, I am so sensitive and so it was kind of even less ideal lol. But this place feels all clear 😌
Looking very nice.
Wow! never seen so many stairs. The house is grand off course, beautiful in it's own way, but not my cup of tea.
This is such a beautiful house
It really is, but so you think it’s worth the money? btw if you’re interested I have videos from here and other cities where I travel🥰🙌🏻
Amazing channel guys 👍
good guide
The wheel system is a dumbwaiter - used to transport things like food, drinks, and other things to different floors without having to carry them up and down stairs.
I love this hose😍
Amazing. I’d buy this immediately if I had £6.5 million to spare!
To be honest, I’d buy a house somewhere else if I if so much money😅
btw if you’re interested I have videos from here and other cities where I travel🥰🙌🏻
This Bathroom 🔥😍
Love the house
love old homes the best
Very nice 👍
Character, definitely!
You guys are so cute at the end 🤗
I really love watching your content. The houses you review look amazing and you both work well together. How old are you both?
Adam Watts 20 and 23...
Beautuful yes yes
Wheel thingy, pretty sure it was to use the well for water.
wau this is a beautiful house!
Cool home
More old and Listed homes!
Very good presentation.
Thanks Joseph
I love houses like this, like historical house not the modern minimalistic because modern and minimalistic looks boring, this house looks like it has its own character
Me enamoré de esa mansión 😍😍❤️
I presume their is a state of art security system on this property ? Again Matt and Summer gr8 video and informative.
Love your videos
Thankyou!
Nice home even though cold and security would be a real nightmare. Good as a guest house. I think the underground rooms would have been the King's gardener servants' common area and laundry room .
