- The Emax Babyhawk 2 (analog version) can cruise around nicely while carrying a GoPro Hero 5 Session. In this video, Kris tests his luck flying around Lady Bird Lake and Waterloo Park, in Austin, TX.
GoPro's new Reelsteady, built into the Player app, was used to stabilize the footage from the Hero 5 Session.
Special thanks to Charlie @DronePsyche for printing a 3D mount for Kris's BabyHawk 2, which allows more space for the battery to be centered on the quad.

Beautiful video! Before I got into fpv I used to fly my mavic over water all the time here in Florida. Even though all my quads have Crossfire DJI digital video, I just do not have the confidence in my quads fly them over water very much. It just seems like either the flight controller or the ESC decide to take a dump on me mid-flight lol. I guess it's time for baby steps and get myself back over the water. Thanks again for all your great videos. Happy flying!
I'm totally with you. Believe it or not I was flying with analog video and FrSky! DJI and crossfire would've been a more reliable option, but a more expensive swim if anything went wrong. 😂

I thought you had all the answers, Bill! Lol yeah, I really like the Session 5 form factor. DJI came close with their Action 2, but I like an SD card slot when possible.

I currently don't have one, but it seems like the online retailers have it available for preorder, which means waiting around for a while. 😕 Some people have had good luck in person at Best Buy. Maybe you can have a look in your local Best Buy stores, if you're in the United States.

Thanks for watching! 👊 I planned the flights beforehand so that I could be up in the air, get the shots, and land without wasting time. Also, I waited for a lull in activity at each location to reduce the chance of any potential complaints, even though the TInyHawk 2 is a quiet drone.

You've gotten pretty good at FPV Kelly. This is the type of flying I like to do too. I've heard good things about Emax drones and these Babyhawk's. How do you think the Babyhawk and iFlight Protek 35 would compare? (That might make a good video). I hope they're comparable. I've just scrolled down. That was you Kris who was flying. It's fun and relaxing, isn't it? I do LOS flying in the lot next door but it's the same thing. Relaxing. With all the practice I'm getting. I can get between the smallest spaces. The other day I was "Ripping" along with a Walkera F210 and had 20 feet of space with only one tree in that area. You guessed it. I smacked right into it.
I have never flown the Protek 35 but just looked up. I'd say the Babyhawk is going to be a bit more light and nimble because it has open props.
And BTW - the flying was all Kris!
@@readysetdrone You should check out iFlight drones. Captain Drone said they're like The DJI of FPV drones and I agree. And they're constantly coming out with new cutting-edge models.
