Mr Landshark thank you for your great casts! 👍
Great and very unusual match mostly between infantry units.
still castin' my man all these years appreciate it
Longest tier 2 fight ever. Also really needed confessor stun to stop the tau running away. Could've made one turret to stop the harass
The tau had the micro of a turtle when it came to keeping his units away from melee and didn't even have kroot.
Sob will obliterate common kroots
I've watched replays of my own games and thought "Why did it take me so long to respond to that?" But the answer is of course that when you're playing you're juggling everything all at once, while when you're watching a replay it's easy to ignore everything else and nitpick one particular error or sloppy moment.
Some players look fast even on a replay but that's rare and they are extraordinarily good.
Kroots would have been terrible there. They are not even good in close combat vs celesta. I generally think tau move at 17:45 was a pretty big mistake. Not because of a micro but rather because he moved all his FWs in one mass very close to celesta, which allowed me to go in mellee. He kinda wanted to use transport I guess, but all vehicles were literally on the other side.
@@elise_ua6849 celestians > tau
@@romanivanov4288 I kinda agree. If tau is not let to tech up, because their later-tiers tech is unbeatable by SoB.
If the Tau wouldn't stop its teching, the game might be longer and end differently. Not sure why he stopped though, maybe not enough eco, since he was behind since beginning.
not possible to not be behind with the endless harass that sob flying units do
Hecky thump! T'Emperor's lassies!
By heck, I'll have to get the kettle on for this!
Bavovna foreva
Well that was exciting.
great match

Bavlňátko! :)
SoB are op against Tau
hm cant call them noobs, but still lot mistakes done...
was ok I would say, both got an plan and at leasttry 2 do something
SoB would win this real easy if she/he knows how 2 fuck with tau 😁
Ok, I am really interested, what the play should be against tau who sits on the base and places fw and traps reasonably good? If possible also with a replay of your own win vs 1900+ mmr tau at least...
@@elise_ua6849 2:50 this move was exellent blocking 2 points, seraphins have 2 jumps she/he can use it jump in base and kill workers + dmg or even kill gens.👍 tau NEED workers for t2, means even if u lose 2-4 models on this move ur in great position.😉 tau no t2 = no dmg boost on units + max population is only 10. if SoB tech t2 get confessor and up eco while teching, get pistols and 2-3 new squads = tau is fucked! 😎
10:39 this would be the winning move: press "z" on selectet squads + klick on fw = only tau commander + up lps can shoot. means tau DONT have enougth dps 2 kill ur army (autoreinforce activated), make granade upgrade 4 celestians+seraphins 2 kill lps fast, consessor spell on fw = EZ gg :P
so if SoB dont messed up with army controll it would be kinda short game 😛
@@Klaus2319 ok, I see that you are kinda ok with my general strat and game plan so we don't argue here. Still may I question again your experience in this mu?
On early game. To my experience tau workers are very cheap and if he really wants to build his t2 he will do it no matter what. Jumping to a base to kill a couple of cheap workers with expensive seraphims is kinda suicidal (again, in my experince). Tau literally was preparing for it the whole game: there are traps, commander, 2 squads of fw in different places and a couple of lp2s. I feel like denying outer points for some time is maximum you can achieve in this match-up against this defensive style from reasonably competent tau opponent.
On the first engagement. Yes, if it went much-much better the game would end there. And I wanted it to go better ))) But again, I don't play solo vs AI and my opponent is also able to make some good moves to defend. Turned out he had enough with a good spread of fw, vehicles and lp2s...
p.s. 4 fully upgraded celestians + confessor with all spells + grenades is kinda what you want to achieve, but it's also kinda very expensive, you won't have these all during 1st engagement, or if you do, tau would have much better army to defend at that point.
@@elise_ua6849 60 blue per woker I would not call cheap xD
I was an active player (Chaos main race)10 year ago, my friend. and I ALWAYS loloed hadcore if an sweety tau dare face me or 1 of my friends, specialy in an sm or elda matchup. SoB really hadly fucks with tau well. I dont know how many times we crushed that stupid mass fw bullshit. 🤣
I mean tau can form lines of great firepower, but if u get heavy weapons, nades + transporter or units with jump + aoe spells... boom bam shakalaka u see the fw mass wiped out in seconds 😛😁
@@Klaus2319 Ok. And I am active player now. Around 2-2,1k mmr usually, SoB main (and I know how to use that secret z-button). I mean, we all like good stuff with boom bam and fw mass wiped out, but that does not work to the same degree of greatness facing opponents of different strength. I would call an overextension hunting 1-2 60 req workers for the cost of 5 seraphims, and it does cost you quite a bit because you don't have great economy with this opening as well. And, you know, it's not like he can't make more workers... Imo competent tau would have no problem to reach his t2, you can't completely deny it. Same with engagements, their success depends heavily on the skill of your opponent as well.
Игрок на сестрах не любит в рукопашку. Сто раз можно было тау командера и войнов огня погонять
Слава Україні, пане Бавовнятко.
