    Would be good to hear what it sounded like before and after the pitch corrector to demonstrate the effect.

    The correction demo tells us almost nothing because you don't let us hear the uncorrected audio.

    This is not a fair test because your pitch is good enough to not trigger the autotune. At full whack it's giving the robot voice tone though lol but at lower settings, try to deliberately sing flat or sharp ..

      To be fair I used to do backup sitting behind a kit. I had a keyboard set up as well in a couple bands playing drums and keys together. Then I had a couple tunes I sang backup. Mostly ok but I used to drink a bit toward the end of the night and once at a party someone recoded us and I heard it. I swore id never sing again lmao

    Might seem like a strange question but can you punch in and out of the Delay? I want to use delay, but only intermittently. I also play the guitar so turning the know is not an option while performing. Thoughts?

    For the pitch correction i did not hear anything changing. Without a chord sound input how could it decide how to adjust ?

      Thanks for watching! I assume it works like auto tune in that it finds the nearest correct note to pitch to when singing, it’s certainly subtle more than obvious though!

    Hey I know I’m a little late to the party on this video, however, I’d like to know if I can use this for a mic auto tune as the same time as using this as a reverb/delay in my signal chain for my guitar? I play in a 2-peice hardcore band and I’d like to do some stuff like ismfof(I set my friends on fire)

    • @DerekPaulGuitar
      @DerekPaulGuitar  Před 6 měsíci +1

      As far as I remember it’s either vocal tuning or guitar reverb, I could be wrong though!

    would be cool if it had a little LED display on top to tell you if youre flat/sharp & which note you're hitting.

    I have TC Helicon Voice Live Ex-3 this pedal is great for my solo acoustic live shows. I bring a Bose L1, this pedal, a mic stand , my guitar. It takes as little as 15 minutes to be fully ready. Does anyone know if the VL3 has the correction capabilities of this pedal. Truth .. I have not read through that section of the manual.
    If not, I may obtain this pedal for the correction capabilities & place it in the signal chain before the VL3. That is not the optimum scenario because suddenly I’m forced to carry more than one pedal; however, if it will help me to improve/fix some pitch problems that I have with my singing, mainly that I go off pitch a little here and there. I don’t want to add that unnatural digital pitch correcting sound at all. I would just hope that it might
    . I hear your voice in this video. it sounds that perhaps it will help with my issue and still remain natural..
    Thank you for your time & effort,

    Hi, just one quick question, can we use Reveb and delay together or just one of them at a time?

    • @DerekPaulGuitar
      @DerekPaulGuitar  Před 5 měsíci +1

      As I remember it’s one at a time, thanks

    • @sholeetunes
      @sholeetunes Před 5 měsíci +3

      Yes you can use all FX together. In fact you always have to use all three FX and adjust the amount of every effect to controll it. So idf you want to use only reverb, you have tor turn down reverb and autotune, which is a bit tricky. But the overall sound is quite good.

    @archimsyahpettapadang1263 Před 9 měsíci +2

    Can we set the pitch correction always on? or we always need to kick the switch on for the pitch correction? and how to use it when you need the correction always on, while you need delay on the certain part of song?

    • @DerekPaulGuitar
      @DerekPaulGuitar  Před 9 měsíci

      Yes it can be always on, just kick the switch on, no harm in that. I’m not sure about the delay part of the question though

    • @archimsyahpettapadang1263
      @archimsyahpettapadang1263 Před 9 měsíci +2

      @@DerekPaulGuitar yeah. i mean how the solution if we need pitch correction always on, while need delay on certain part? bcause there's only one switch. i really appreciate for your answer 🎤🎸

    • @DerekPaulGuitar
      @DerekPaulGuitar  Před 9 měsíci

      That’s ok, I see what you mean, The footswitch is a multifunctional one. When you press it once, it turns on the pitch correction, delay, and reverb knobs; pressing it twice turns off the pitch correction, and pressing it three times turns the pedal off completely. Also, when the effects are on, you can press the footswitch twice quickly to turn off each effect. I would say not ideal for your situation

    So, if you can't sing without it, you can't sing with it. Is that right? The reverb sounds nice but I don't know if it's worth the cost just for the reverb. I wish I had one to play with for a few minutes before having to buy one.

    • @DerekPaulGuitar
      @DerekPaulGuitar  Před 14 dny +1

    Wouldn't the pitch correction require the guitar to pass through in order for the pedal to recognize the pitch that the vocal should most likely follow?

    • @ThePinnacleSFA
      @ThePinnacleSFA Před měsícem +1

      it likely doesn't use "key" it probably just snaps to the nearest note in the 12 tone scale
      so it's assuming you're singing is at least close enough to not snap to the entirely wrong note lol

      @@michaelskooma8537 Dear, many thanks for this info. But, check it again. Tc mic mechanic has got ONLY one input and ONLY one output for voice. This one, instead, you can connect mic and instrument at same time. The mic mechanic does not take instrument tune as reference to correct voice pitch.

      @davidrobert4246 Před 5 měsíci +2

      @michaelskooma8537 Nah, both Mic Mechanic and Mic Mechanic 2 only have 1 xlr input and 1 xlr output.
      The flamma pedal also doesn't appear to take guitars key into account in any of the videos I have watched,It just seems to tune the vocal to the nearest correct semitone using A440 as it's reference pitch.
