That team playing sundowns caused a huge upset by beating wydad in group stages and in the process eliminating the mighty Zamalek. Sundowns might win but complacency might ruin everything. Zamalek did not manage a win against them home and away
One thing I have observed from this Downs team is that they don't underestimate any team. Even weaker opponents like Mathaithai FC, Orlando Pirates, or Dynamos, they go for a kill with lethal missile. I doubt they can start in this stage to have a negative mindset about opponents

Ur right... Manqoba said Petro is like Sundowns in 2016..nobody really saw Downs as a force in Caf back then.. So it made them a surprise package.
Plus like Dawana Petro is owned by some Petroleum big shots. Saw their budget is massive and thats why they have about 3 Brazilian players in their team. And I saw that when they played.. Their system and pattern od play is similar to Downs they come central and wide, unpredictable really.
Very good team to watch... Remember it took many years for Pitsos Sundowns to beat Wydad but Petro just did it almost effortlessly this season.
