Somehow there is an instinct that when you are Kiriko and you teleport to some one that you HAVE to instantly Suzu the floor.

Hello! I'm the Kiriko in this video! Thank you so much for watching my replay. I was really hoping you'd do a bingo card since it was such an odd match (at least, it was to me). Also, thank you for the tips. I'll try to break the habit of my bad suzu usage for sure and keep in mind better kitsunes. Despite the embarrassing showcase of all my stupid mistakes to everyone here, it was a pleasure. Cheers
Seriously, that wasn't too bad. Suzu usage can be improved and once you use Kitsune offensively, you should be good to go. I also love that you immediately got off Brig. And I get the paranoia but if you look too much behind as a support, you forget what's in front of you - and that's usually your entire team. All in all, I think you can climb a lot in the future 😊

I really think you can climb, when you take damage you try to close the angle,of damage taken, this is really a step up. the suzu is ok, to be honest i use like Zarya bubbles, to protect low hp players or burst damage, when the enemy dont have something danger(like ana nade or Illari ult for ex). You have a mercy in this game soo is not optimal, but try do more off angle damage when you can. Sometimes i just hide in the enemy shoot 2 kunais and tp in my team( always have a teamate to tp out) but if you dont want be agressive, just dps in diferent angle when you dont have nothing to do. You play really well and is really time to you climb up.

I feel the pain of the Brig pinging the Symmettra behind and no one turning around. The hopelessness of just staring at her being unable to do anything because they have no range is so relatable.

Also there's a difference between someone flanking and getting value because they're getting picks, and someone who flanks and gets value because they distract your team. The former you need to deal with, the latter can basically be ignored until they become the former.
He was right though, the amount of times this kiri let her frontline die for a sym was questionable, it’s a sym. The solider is completely different. I would have gladly went on my merry way and ignored that sym and took advantage of their terrible play and 4v5 them like he said. I mean, game sense is literally knowing the same thing could happen in a game but knowing the resolve of that issue could be completely different each match, and knowing what that resolve is, from well, common/game sense.
There was definite lack of peeling for support. I only saw that team help support with flankers a couple of times and those seemed more accidental than intentional.

You can get away so easily with braindead flanks in this elo. That's why that Syn and Soldier was getting some value at least.
As a bad Kiriko myself I felt that suzu magnetizing onto the soldier when it was meant for Orisa on defense first point on a spiritual level
I understand the feedback about not having too much aggro pulled away by a single enemy flanking far in your backline, but i've also lost a lot of games because it wasn't dealt with. Maybe in higher elos, a 4v5 truly is a 4v5 fight that should be a guaranteed win because all the players are skilled, but everywhere else fights don't engage as quickly and even without one person, a 4v5 can still be an even match due to the high variability in skill levels at lower elos. I think its a great understatement to say that the enemy sym/soldier was dealing "10 damage" because they were consistently winning 1v1s and getting elims.
Especially in these bigger maps, I find going a mobile tank will solve a flanking dps by quickly catching them, getting rid of them, and then pushing through to engage in the main fight. But when you go heroes like zarya/orisa/rein, you're basically a sitting duck because you can't take damage from both angles while trying to take space (or i guess you could go ball and cause mayhem in the enemy's backline, that could balance the fight out a bit)

Going Dva and flying away from the teamfight would leave your team defenseless against the Orisa. In a perfect world, another dps should contest the flanker. In our world, I'd just go Moira and hunt that guy down until I've sucked all will to live out of them 😂

And you know why she got value? She distracted them like she wanted, if they left her alone or her kiri teled out of her view and the solider left her alone as well it would have been fine. Let’s look at 8:20 for example, you know what would have solved this issue? Literally kiri and solider ignoring the sym and dropping down the other way where the mega is and going to your team, what would the sym be able to do after that? Nothing she’d be forced to retreat. Kiri panicked and so did the solider. Only reason she got value. And if you’re the support in this situation and your solider won’t go with you and ignore her, kiri could have easily have teled to her team at that very spot and helped doing ot, would have been my first priority. Let soldier die. Her flanking with solider does need to be dealt with though. Which literally was the first thing he said. And it’s a team effort a lot of the time, I wouldn’t 1v1 a flanker, especially as a support, unless I knew I could kill them, depending on how good you are at said character dps wise, and what the character is, but most of the time I’d run back to your tank and ping. If you see them or your other dps going, then go with them, but make sure your tank is being healed by your other healer if it is your dps. Also, use common sense, what is a sym going to do in your back line? Nothing. A solider? A hell of a lot. Also think about it, a 4v5 in low elo is still a 4v5, how many times do you win when someone leaves a match? Not very much id assume. Varying skill level doesn’t matter much there. It’s the same thing. Take advantage of the syms stupidity.
Please, my teams would never do this. I’ve been stuck in Silver for awhile and have seen a great many things. One thing, none of my teammates ever turn around when I ping someone who’s flanking and it’s infuriating. As a Support (with questionable aim), there’s only so much I can do.
I love to watch these vids! As a gold player, I find Emongg’s insights really helpful for my gameplay.
I just realized your spectating videos are the new OverAnalyzed. I've been bummed for a while that Stylosa isn't doing OA anymore (and it got worse towards the end while he was still doing it anyway), but you do pretty much the same concept as the old OA and you do it very well and nicely, with some of your own twists of course.

everyone hates sym, me included and that's the reason i go Phara/Echo -- Kiriko/Ana -- Doom/Ram against them, Ana mostly to sleep them, tbag and kill them afterwards lol
@@Sac-chan yeah you're kinda weird for that, sym isn't even the kind of character that has basically no counter play. Of all the issues overwatch has, sym is such a weird pick
@@Sac-chansyms ass, why? If you struggle against one this bad to where you hate every sym you need to reevaluate yourself.
If you can stay alive, a flank like this is brutally effective. It is very hard to fully ignore a proper flank that knows what they're doing. If you try to ignore it, you run the risk of losing a sneaky pick. If you try to all-in to deal with the flank, they can create a ton of distance and waste your time. If you split attention with anything more than a single person, you're now willingly taking a 4v3 in the enemy's favor. And if you split attention with just one person and they lose, you're now in a 4v5 anyways.
I do it all the time on Moira. It's a lot of fun and works really well in most games. The key is staying alive. The best case scenario is to send someone that simply out-skills the flanker who can reliably kill them at least most of the time. If you don't have anyone like that... well, you're gonna have a rough time.

@@FlamingNinjaBoi Yeah, one of the best Moiras out there, Nolan uses this style. Its done on Moira when the other Support can dish out enough healing numbers.

This kiriko plays passively and healbots too much when everyone is full hp. They should be playing way more aggressively into the sym, and any other squishy character, when they have suzu and swift step up.

personally I go brig for flankers, but you can easily go bap, with lamp and the burst heal are amazing, or even moria, if no-one is peeling for you, you do need to swap sometimes, if you can't hit headshots with kiriko, I they're not great against flankers

Not everything on the bingo is neccassarily bad all of the time. Like holds onto ult for quite a while, it's not bad if Zen holds ult if his team just stomps and was never in danger of dying, or if the fights they lose widow just popped 3 heads and the fights over.
