  • This is a brief review of the Roterfaden A5 SLIM and a size comparison to the standard A5 Roterfaden and my Midori Travelers Notebook.
I haven't seen any video reviews so I thought I would do one so you can see the difference.
I purchased it from Baum-kuchen be sure to check out their shop!

Nice review, I had not yet seen the A5 Slim. Thanks.

I’m trying to decide between this and the normal A5. How do regular A5 notebooks, something like the Apica CD notebooks, fit into the slim?

I finally received an ST17 direct from Roterfaden Germany. Paid u$40 for DHL international courier service. Took over two months to reach Canada. Roterfaden claim they have no other shipping choices! My package was labelled economy and low priority! Speaks to how Roterfaden values quick service. Nice binder but I won’t be spending again on this product when Roterfaden don’t seem to be customer focused.

I kinda like em but then I really don’t either. lol. The idea is neat - just clip in any books very easily. Then the clips idea is ugly. Then the covers look good. One thing I don’t get is why you would use TN refills in a larger and wider book, when the TN is the slimmest and best cover for them, especially when you mentioned getting the A5 Slim into your bag was easier, then surely using the TN is even better? Thanks for the video, a good comparison 🙂👍🏻
