This version gives me goosebumbs. And it could’ve been in a big movie. It gives me those vibes. It surely would have won an Academy award for best original song in a movie. 😊 The orchestra along with Aurora sounds so amazing. Bergen Philharmonic is actually one of the worlds oldest orchestras dating back to 1765 (it celebrated 250th anniversary in 2015).
Wow.. As a norwegian I knew they were old and all, but thats pretty god damn impressive to be fair. And their playing is marvelous. Sounds coming from this orchestra together with the worlds most beautiful voice is the 8th wonder of the world as far as I am concerned.
MetalJuggler I didnt know that myself before this concert either. I always thought KORK was the most amazing orchestra we have, but this orchestra is almost better (on par at least). I love when orchestras and artist collaborates. The songs sounds even better with an orchestra. Even metal songs (I saw your nick and assume you are a fan of that genre). You have probably seen/heard this (Kork & Dimmu Borgir) in concert

My most ambitious and biggest goal as an aspiring filmaker is to make a high budget three film adaptation of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind; a beautiful and epic tale of a girl trying to achieve balance in a world literally corrupted by war after a tragedy that almost drove humanity to extinction a thousand years before the events of the story.
If I were to work on the pre-production of these movies today, I would like to have Aurora as the writer and main vocalist for a few original songs in key moments throughout the trilogy. I find her to be just perfect fit for such a project for a lot of reasons; not only because she is a really big fan of Hayao Miyazaki's works, but also because it is a story that goes along with her artistic output in many ways.
You can appreciate the fact that these versions has been done to harmonize the classical orchestra with a conductor. And the mere fact that it is only her voice echoing without the backup voice of Silja and the rest of the band(I love them by the way). This one is heavenly. She is the only singer I know that can perform both with a classical orchestra (majestic) and with a band (wild and free), or with any instrument playing.🥰
I can't get enough of her. She touches every part of me. And I am so thankful that she is also an incredible human being.
