  • Join us in this video where we cross the Manukau bar to head out on the blue west coast! this is just to show the places you can go with a Jet ski. Even if you have a smaller one like we do, the Seadoo GTI 90 is perfect to get through a bit of chop. we then get straight into the kingfish at a local spot off the coast of Auckland. the day started slow and the sharks were thick. we were lucky enough to get one away from the sharks.
let us know in the comments below if you guys have any suggestions for our videos and what you would like to see or see more of!

That’s one of the calmest day’s crossing the manukau bar. Gets crazy out there sometimes

There is a Jet ski fishing community group on Facebook where guys usually post for guys to join in the trips. We post on there sometimes as well.

8:12. Jet ski's lol. Watch out for tiger sharks, they are out there, and great white sharks, even in the harbor, in 1987 there were two great whites spotted in the harbor, a 35 foot and a 15 foot great white

Jip! We have encountered a few sharks out there before but no great whites yet! That is crazy! I would like to think I will be excited to see a great white but think i will need a change of underwear 🙈

Boet get a shorter jigging rod. Kingies will use the leverage to kill you otherwise. Great catch though!
