She had nannies, but the boys did NOT go to boarding school until they were in their teens. She took them to school herself most days when they were little. Her first priority was her children, not her status as "Princess". She did what she had to do in terms of fulfilling that role, but those kids always came first. She never shirked her responsibilities as a mother to ANYONE, including nannies, unless she was out of the country. Where are you getting your information from? She was very much a hands-on mother. Everyone who has seen her with her boys can attest to that. She wanted a very different upbringing for them than the one she herself had. I think your comment is a little backwards.
