Love that you are stressing the possibility to change all ingredients. I feel especially beginners often get hung up on the details without actually grabbing the gist and making it their own 😊💚
This is true. I find it's not explained very well in a lot of videos. I wish someone would teach herbs, candles, gems and stones, satchets, charm bags, sigils, and spells more thoroughly. Like uses, origins, purposes, what the different properties are of each item, moon and so forth. It's very difficult when in the closet with no coven.

@@Thewitchescookery THAT WAS THE BIGGEST EYE-OPENING AND HELPFUL INFORMATION I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED!!🤯🥰 I didn't realize the subjectivity of it all. My instincts have been telling me to just go with the flow of it and my biggest setback has been not inviting in the "dark" when cleansing. The current protection I need revolves around that specifically however I don't want y be afraid to practice if that makes sense at all. A sleep spell I did, I did not cast a circle and something has attached to my dreams (the spell was to have no nightmares) and I cannot rid myself of it. Any tips for me? I don't even know if that's what it is but it's scary and happens every night. And thank you for the insight!

I did a supermoon ritual outside last night having inscribed a sigil into a candle for protection, healing, and justice. The only item I wish I had added to the ceremony was mosquito repellent. I got ate up so fast!

I enjoyed the protection candle video and did something similar for my mom with a green candle while her credit card was being hacked into. It worked beautifully. A week later, the authorities had caught the one doing the hacking. This guy was out of Missouri, out in Joplin. But I thank thee and my thanx to Cerridwen that justice was done. I have done my protection spell earlier today. I wanted to do it with the Full moon last night but had a migraine, so added moon water to today's work. I was wondering if to bury the remnants in my front garden but I like your sachet idea.

When i burned a black candle once, it really backfired on me. I am very scared to burn it again. I've burned it like a protections candle and not to attack someone.

When doing candle spells do i need to open a circle? Plus, if i do and i dont want to spend hours watching my candle burn down do i close the circle and snuff it and come back next day reopen circle stand in circle...blah..i find waiting around in a circle restricting. How do u protect yourself during candle spell? I hope i am making sense?
Question from a beginner! If I only have white candles but a lot of black paper. Would it make any difference if I were to write the petition onto black paper and use that under a white candle? (i'm not planning on actually trying any spells for a while i'm just curious) :)
