I have a Boba myself ❤️ for my 6.5 pound little Bear (Yorkie).
I am able to carry her ALL day while cleaning house and listen to her soft snoring. And she doesn't even fuss while I vacuum.
ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS AND HELPFUL ADVICE: If you are going to wear the Boba wrap for an extended period of time however, you will want to completely tuck your precious little furrbaby inside the wrap - no paws hanging out - or your back will be killing you 😖 after 30 minutes and your little one will be uncomfortable and feel like she is going to fall out when you lean over to pick anything up off the floor.
After you place your little one inside the wrap, lean forward so there is a space between your chest and your little one and pull the remaining lower material of the interior crossed section of the Boba under your little ones lower body toward your chin as snug as possible. Seriously - you'll want to lean forward for this or your little one will squeal.
Instead of following the Boba wrap instructions for an infant (for a very small dog) do not tuck the outer crossed fabric under your little one as you did the interior - especially a Yorkie because their neck can easily be injured - it will choke your baby. I carry my little Bear across my chest with The left side of her head against the left side of my chest ears up as close to my upper shoulder as possible instead of in a cradle position giving her neck as much room as possible.
Also - after your all wrapped up and snuggled - straighten the fabric wrapped around your back and sides smooth against your body or it will bind and become very uncomfortable. If necessary carefully loosen or untie the knot.
SO worth the $49.99 (at Target.)
Especially handy when your little one is not feeling well or sick (yes my little Bear has even puked on me when sick. So....I purchased a second Boba wrap for this purpose.) I did try the Moby and although it was very lovely I do not recommend it due to the width of the material being too large for my 6.5 pounder. I also the Boba material to stretch and give more than the Moby.
I tend to use the Boba more often when I'm feeling down and out because listening to my babies soft breathing and the occasional snore is very comforting to me as much as it is to her. ❤️

Please please do a video on CZcams and show us! It is a bit hard to understand based on your description and it sounds like you’ve figured this out!

@@dianebassett1930 OMG yes please, I know she left this comment 3 years ago but I am desperately trying to figure out how to make this work for my cat! She is so used to riding on my shoulders, so she doesn't enjoy being wrapped (yet). I can't get anything done w her on my shoulders, as I am constantly having to balance our weight.

I would check with a vet to make sure the position and pressure from the wrap isn’t bad for your dog! Especially if the pup’s already got back pain :( If it’s back isn’t supported correctly, it could lead to all kinds of problems that you’re trying to avoid, especially with lots of use.

No judgement here-I have 2 chihuahuas, 10 years old, one loves the exercise the other gets back/leg pain. Bought a moby wrap, he loves to be held in it, and now we all can get outdoors and enjoy!

I've been looking for baby carriers for my chi, came across your video. I'd definitely check with your vet about this carry. I was holding my dog in a similar position and my vet told me that puts more pressure on their spine and makes it worse 😩

I have 4 kids and 4 pets, 2 sons 2 daughters, and 2 cats and 2 dogs. One of my cats, the obly girl of the bunch, is paralyzed from the waist down. I can say for sure that being a pet owner is just as hard in some ways as being a parent, only real diff is that you can leave your pets home alone, cant do that with little kids lol

Just searching for how to make a wrap for my black and white Papillon, Sasha. She has a herniated disc and is in morphine and is not happy unless I'm touching her. This is a great help. Thanks

Oh my lord thank you!! My pup tore his version of acl and I am traveling with him and I can’t find a bag that’s cheap enough so I wanted to try one of these. When they say the internet has everything it’s true!!! I never thought I would find a video like this! Any suggestions since doing this video?

Thank you for the post! I'm looking at something like this and you totally brought it to life! Thank you! Quick question, if it feels tight on you, do you think it would hinder a small dogs breathing? My girl is 8lbs, I worry 🤦 also, does Michael feel secure? Like can you go for a walk around the block with him in it and if he is not wiggling would it work for that? She's just got bad joints but she still wants to be active and go places. I'm trying to find that happy medium where she's safe, healthy and happy.

That is way too tight. It should be loose and gentle and comfortable for both of you. You also have her in there in a wrong and uncomfortable way.

I ride my Lily on my handicap scooter then I can take her in the store for a short trip without bothering other people with the scooter. I don't stand or walk well for very long. So that is why for me. Any further questions? Just more convenient..
