Here is what my parents do when we are having a conversation about having a dog in our house most of the time they strictly say no but when I ask my parents that at least can we just visit the adoption center, my parents say ok we can but we are not buying a dog , and at the adoption center i ask that can we buy this dog? there are only 20% chances that we can get a dog. I hpe this will help me convince my parents
Hi, me and my parents were thinking of getting a Maltese/maltepoo lately, but we're quite worried if he can stay home alone. I leave house for about 6-8 hours to go to school, some days my parents stay at home when I'm gone, but some the dog would stay home alone. Except for school I don't really leave my house for long periods of time and if I do my parents are home then. So, my question is "Is Maltese/maltepoo a good dog for us since I leave so much? " I'm worried that he could develop a separation anxiety and destroy sth which my dad really doesn't want to happen.

And I am so glad you mentioned in this video that you wanted one since 7 years old and you finally got one in your teens because I want our children to:
A) get a dog that will work for us ALL as a family
B) at a time where they are old enough to share in the responsibilities of it
And I was wondering if that should be as you g as 7 or wait u til they are both older but then when they go away for college their dad and I would be stuck with the dog lol
