My father got our 1st B/W TV in 1983...our teenage was in the 80's..still remember Hum Log,Buniyaad, Yej Jo hai Zindahi,Chitrahar..those days life was less complicated..people were happy & contented with what they had...no mobile , no cable TV, no computers..people had humanity and social bonding was much more than social media bonding. People had time and relations were valued. Those days will never come back and it bring tears

The story was extremely well shot, well crafted, portrayed relevance, and obviously delivered strong messages. Hardly any TV serial can match the quality of the entireness of this serial these days.

Mohan Bhandari the professor and Arif Zakaria, the student were my favorites. Later a similar serial was made. It was called "Campus" - sounding more like campus life. In this role Zakaria matured into a professor, and another young lad was the student.
