I’ve been yelling at my TV shoot the puck since the start of the season and everyone just yaps about how many points McDavid had. He went from 60+ goals to barely 30 this year. He needs to shoot the puck idk what is wrong whether it’s physical or mental but he has looked like a shell of himself compared to last year.

He’s hurt! His breakaway goal, two handed slash on his ankles right after he scored! Went into the boards hard. Ankle or lower back.
Defending is exhausting and they were defending a lot that game. So ya fatigue was a thing last night.
Refs gave us 5 opportunities to score! They looked exhausted.
When your captain becomes a pure passer, you become very predictable………everyone knows Connor is not going to shoot……period!
I figured he was just practicing a bunch of different shots for the playoffs.

4 games bottom 9 was crap. He had to try and carry for multiple games and they ran low on energy. If not then they're just built diff.
Hes sick and injured man. I wouldnt be suprised if hes been battling something all season, something shoulder related maybe. Like a frozen shoulder or some shit. And we know Ekholm was/is sick, wouldnt be surprised if a lot of them are, theyve looked pretty bad in interviews.
Don't know what it is - one thing or several things - but he's not his usual self. Hasn't been all year, IMO. You can see it in him. He just doesn't look right.
