I'm neutral for this game, but I feel like the wrong call for Mitchell's knock on just before half time made up for the forward pass before Northants' first try

Which part do you have issue with? Just want to make sure you know your laws
@@chrisgeldard6323 It definintely should have been a yellow card. The referee even reaches for it before realising that it's Danny Care and then decides against the card. It's cynical play after a line break to slow the ball down - definitely a yellow - Care is clearly in an offside position before Mitchell has possession of the ball. Just want to make sure you know the law.
@@David-ud9ju He comes through the gate in an onside position and Mitchell has two hands on the ball off the ground? Please explain what he did wrong. Put the video onto 0.25% playback speed and look at 1:19:11 There are countless times ref's reach for a card and then decide to check it with TMO first, you cannot possibly speak to his mindset and why he paused and didn't give the card, you are criticising a mans integrity without any evidence. Also you could easily argue that Mitchell should have received a yellow card for pushing Andre causing him to land on a grounded players head.

It was a disgrace, the ref should be banned. Care went off his feet and he played the 9. The ref went straight to his pocket for the yellow and then bottled it when he realised it would've been Cares 2nd yellow.
