Ive been passionate about pool for a long time but hes even better that me on a phone app where it shows guidlines and everything. Just wow
Brilliant, that will be hard, 15 balls in half a table is super tough for me.. Next step.. you are not allowed to hit a cushion either.
@@JB-yf4nh not allowed to hit the rail on the rail shot?
@@genipool no rail shots, the set up will have to be different. Our warm up drills are 6 then 9 then 12 balls in half the table.. not allowed to hit another ball.. or allowed to hit a rail.. or allowed to go past the middle bags.. we usually always fail the 12, it takes a few attempts. usually set up big circle, sometimes lines.. just whatever really. I suppose a monster effort would be 40 balls full table. Maybe 2 large circles in each half with a square or lines in each circle.
People don’t understand the difficulty of cue ball control and the thought process of the best shot next. This is a tough drill and you’ve got major skills.
Thanks, man!
Chris i could not agree more! This is insane!!
😍😍
It's easy from Efran "BATA" Reyes...coz thats just a game not a tournament... 😀
@@genipool I think this is a great video idea
Think out loud while playing a 9 balls game
The amount of time, patience, and practice that goes into this must be insane. This guy definitely put forth that inspired effort, much props!
His wife is also very happy with all the extra time. 😜
makes it 2x harder when his point of view is looking up at the ceiling most of the time lol
The fact that you ran through this set without hitting the other balls with backspin is impressive
this was entertaining.
I was on the fence for watching this video, you’re the reason I decided to go ahead and check it out.
I'm just glad you got such crisp audio of your footsteps.
The most noticeable thing which stood out the whole time for me here are the dragging of the slippers.
jk, great skills mate, splendid exercise!
I played on a ridiculously fast table once and it was a eureka moment regarding cue ball control too
Yeah the slippers did my head in. I switched off after about a minute.
That’s a pet peeve of mine too.Still a good video though.
Imagine if he just missed the last ball to pocket😂😂
But still he touched only one ball per hit every time so challenge isn't broken
@@lieman7136 yeah of course challenge isn't broken.
Goodbye life
😘😘😘
Thats what i said. I was hoping he'd miss it.
I don't clap at too many video. This was impressive.
I remember setting up drills like this (though I've never gone as high as 45 balls - that's pretty impressive). As an added challenge and for some variation I would play one set using only top and roll-on shots and one set using only stun or screw back shots. I started out with just an eight ball runout along the rails and as my skill improved I added more balls. A solid hour of really concentrating on drills like these is more tiring than many would realize, BUT, I could not believe how much my game improved in as little as 90 days. Very nice and clean runout and a joy to watch.
That's why I admire those people who can practice for hours daily. I play matches 99.9% and practice very rarely by myself.
@@tesha199 Best advice I ever got from my coach was to place at least one mirror then set up a drill from the opposite side. With every shot, check your stance, your form, how you address the ball, your aim etc etc. Today I can comfortably run out 90+ balls (from triangle + break-shot) by this single thing, a simple mirror.
@@pierrerossouw6083 being able to analyze yourself and detect problems is the basis on which you build any skill.
With 45 balls no way could u use just top spin! You must not know much about pool, I’ve never heard anyone say screw shot, draw shot
What best about this is you showed your fails before the win. It really settled in the difficulty of this challenge.
This is so damn nerve racking! Excellent job and love the camera angles.
Better than any trick shot I’ve ever seen! Congratulations, this takes an impressive amount of skill to pull off. You are very talented!
I've done this same drill at home and the process can get so frustrating when you have to start all over again because of a minor mistake you made.
Been doing a much smaller version of this drill for over 20 years. It’s tough to say the least. Whenever I ran across a person that thought they were good I’d ask them to execute this drill , most failed , only one got it on the second try. We were doing it on a 7’ bar box
Good video & like the 3 angles
Incredible! That feeling leading up to those couple last balls, knowing that you’re about to do it must’ve been amazing!
The head cam is nice for this, shows how you use different bridges for a wide variety of shots.
It also shows a really nice wall and ceiling
Dude in your opinion I should put two headcams? Or to hold my head down when I'm up? This is the best I can do. You can watch the other angle same time
Do you mean there should be the cue ball graph? Is the head camera not enough for this?
@@genipool I think the second guy was responding to the first comment saying the POV cam shows you where to hit on the white ball
What is the head camera being used here?
I used to set up a version of this on regulation 9 ft table with 15 balls shooting at 1 - 15 in order. It was very frustrating because each next number ball was on opposite end of the table requiring a lot of cue ball travel. That was about 25 years ago. Nice to see someone else doing similar.
This was really good to watch, as someone who plays 14.1 a lot, I don’t ever want to play you at that! You have such amazing cue control and ball speed. It’s impressive to watch
Congrats sir! That's the first time I've seen someone genuinely finish this drill.
This is crazy so much control
Timing, Precision, and Skill, Practice Makes Perfect,
Just to complete this is a very nice accomplishment . Great shooting and ball control sir.
The level of patience and concentration is just insane 🔥🔥
What a fantastic display of cue ball control!
I am 100% never doing this lol but it was nice to see it done! Good job!
Try this!
nice, that's a drill I've ben doing for years.
it may actually be one of a few drills you'll need to become a super player. the focus and strategy on this one is like no other.
Stunning !!! It’s been an absolute pleasure to watch; thank you!
Excellent!!! The patience, better the video has no cuts
This is incredible it would be hard enough making 45 shots in a row even with zero other balls on the table. That was a herculean effort props to you!
I don't think I've ever played pool not drunk. but when I'm drunk I'm amazing :D
Well done, Amigo! I was particularly impressed with a couple of those drag shots you hit to kill the cue ball close to the rail.
Ive been shooting pool for 24 years and i still practice this drill at least once daily. I dont use as many balls but its the same drill. Its extremely difficult but also extremely helpful when it comes down to cue ball control. If u can learn to put the que ball where u want it the rest is easy.
Wow man this is superb, you deserve that music in the end....👍
What an awesome practice game! I thought doing this game was hard with 15 balls !
This is dope and actually great for practicing. Good stuff my guy 🔥
Great job.wonderful idea with the head cam.helps us lesser mortals learn to aim.cheers!
I swear when you started hittin them slow at the end it was gonna skid. but you did it. Nice work.
Comentario en español, la mayoría de los armes muy bien hechos, me dieron ganas de jugar.
Holy crap - great drill. I was on edge from the time you got a dozen down. Excellent!
This has to be the greatest practice for speed control. I saw the table and suddenly I was scared. Must try. May have to bring a few sets of balls to the pool hall. Great video. Thank you.
This is the perfect accidental asmr video
LOL, back when I thought I was good at pool I could almost do this with 15 balls...way to crush my self-image and burn down my house of memories
Fantastic drill. Excellent cue ball control!
Super tough and super awesome!!! I lived watching that!!! Amazing job 👏 🙌 👌 👍!!
I was going to comment on the flip flops but that topic seems to be well covered by the other commenters. Congrats on completing the table!
The sound of you walking is almost unbearable
I just spent 12 minutes of my life watching a guy play with balls 😄
You know you've done this one too many times on phub let's be real 🤣
I have happily spent many an hour watching guys play with their balls.
And sometimes other peoples balls.
Whoa, never seen this tough table challenge. Good way to learn how to keep your cue ball in control.
This was really fun to watch! Great run 😄
This cheered me up. So difficult to hit the shots so slow. Congrats dude
side note: the guys that can actually play snooker and pool dont even notice the sound of the feet/sliders, we are concentrating on the shots so intensely.
Right
I think hitting softly is so much easier
5:04 shirt foul. Start over 😜
wow , that was some of the best cue ball control ive ever seen ,great video
This was insane to watch.. Nicely done mate 👏🏾
How many tries did this take you? Your are the new pool magician!
I don't remember. May be 20-25
Shit if I knew you were gonna do 45 I wouldn’t have done 44....impressive dude
this was incredibly satisfying to watch.
I had a pool pro teach me this in the 80’s on a snooker table, never completed it missed shots were my problem not hitting other balls with cue.Great drill👍
Nice play, i Will try this at home 🙌 but bro please put some shoes the sound of your sandals kill the game 👍
Yeah I thought the exact thing. It reminds me of how most people can't pick up their feet, rather than scuffing along. I rather scare the shit of people being quiet.
On the other hand it was brilliant pool skills and patience.
Wow. Impressive! That is an extremely tough drill!
Wow. Well done. Total control throughout.
Your here raging over missing up the drill while me over here I slam my cue stick on the ground after messing up on a 5 ball rack run out
Crazy dude!!! How many attempts have you done for this kinda performance!
More than 20 I think. I was touching the balls as you can watch in the begining of the video
It doesn't even matter how many times it took. Doing that even once is amazing... I would love to see some of the top professionals attempt this drill
@@travispogue8937 This is not very difficult drill. Watch Darren Appleton's channel, you will be amazed
@@genipool i sure will...lol
Nice little 10minute break from 8ball, this was highly entertaining,
Muchos Gracias
Great drill! Great job executing it! Thanks for sharing!
Imagine failing to shoot the last ball😆
Nice video, just should have put some music over as the dragging feet made me keep thinking someone was eating potato chip with their mouth open
Absolutely amazing... I consider myself a good pool player. And am starting to learn better cue control. I will definitely try this!!
You, my sir, have major skills. Kudos
Imagine if he missed the last ball 😄
Well, he will get a new cue and a new table
For starters: make sure you never try this.
Well done. I have tried this drill numerous times, and never succeeded. Respect 👍
good drill and bonus points for doing it in oversized sandals :)
Don’t forget only socks allowed no shoes
This is not comfortable to walk in socks, I'll wear something silent next time
@@genipool thanks it was kind of annoying
I've been wearing the same slippers for the last four videos, and people starting to complaining only now
@@genipool Who cares what your wearing on your feet? Ignore the idiotic comments. Great job on the run out. Most people can't do that.
@@philbrownred6500 It is ok, because viewer's experience matters if I want to get more views on my videos
Very good skills. Great cue ball control, great stroke. Great job man. 👍
Much respect to this dude 🤲
Awesome display of cue ball control !
tried some drills like this with 15 balls, the first few are pretty easy, it gets difficult once you make the first few and then got less options to play position, so you need to be more accurate. Well done!
Very entertaining. Like a prime Nigel Bond. Colourful!
The drill procedure is to restart whenever contact is made away from the intended shot. This attempt was improperly done, with play that aligned better with "Let it go" than the hype you had playing. Turn your shaft smaller and get a harder hitting cue/joint/tip. We can hear deflection on the far english shots.
Very good job! Salute from Kazakhstan 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I’ve done this with just a 15 ball rack and it’s difficult af. You will improve your accuracy and cue ball control x10 tho. Mad Props @genipool 👏
Everyone saying that this is easy obviously doesn’t understand the precision involved with this drill. Also, please post your own videos before criticising. Good work man, amazing.
I'm happy to see this video.Too educational.
I can’t imagine how nervous you were on the last few, well done man!
Pretty good stuff man. Kept me laughing to myself 👍
Finally a pool POV video in which the FOV is not 36436 degrees.
so intense... so satisfying!
Listening to the flip flop shuffling was bruuuuuutal.
Respect man!!! Good job!!! Congratulations
Shout out from Indonesia buddy, great and amazing skills
This deserves more attention than what it has!! Amazing
Go man
That was super impressive!!!
Absolute quality. So precise and controlled, and to show how relaxed he is he does it in his slippers. Genius. Kudos🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🤛🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Awesome buddy, great cue ball control.
Loved the video, especially the ending 😂
You earned the "Perfectionist Trophy"!
That was pretty damn awesome. Well done sir!!!
Wow. this is incredible!
Ball control and a go pro in head is other level.
Because of this my game will definitely have to improve.
I know where to hit the cue ball, how to hit a direct shot. Balls on the rails real amaze me. 1 year later, I'll improve my game
