Yes it was far to warm for me so I thought I would lay down for a bit. Incredibly I didnt spill a drop of tea.😁 What a great engine. Fantastic video Terry👍
That is neat. I have seen these Geoof/ Hyde Out Mountain type Mamod cylinder shays before. They are really neat kitbash. I had one like it years ago and sadly sold it :(. I have a unused Mamod Marine motor but I have no idea how to make the universal joints and gears etc. Thanks for sharing it runs great with a nice wood cab.
That loco is double awesome burger and large fries! Defo my kind of thing, amazing! Don't worry Dave, I saw you there and was ready to pounce and administer first aid if needed 😜
Goodness. And now it is 35 c outside. So closer to 100. And very humid so feels hotter. There are constant health advisories and weather advisories. We’re in the middle of a heat wave.

I have a question, do you plan on, or have any engines with lit up cabs, or lamps? If you do plan on or do have any, how does it work? Is it like a candel or-
The water boils faster when it's warm! Lol
Dave was taking a nap!!
Yep! Yes indeed. Dave was certainly up to something.
I like Henry and Marie’s chairs. A very interesting locomotive
Well Chris, I just got those metal chairs and that little table at a garage sale for a dollar. ☺️

What a great engine.
Fantastic video Terry👍
Hehe. That’s it! The heat. My gosh it got hot in the garage fast. Thanks Dave. ☺️
Wow! That is a fantastic Shay! Thank you for braving the heat to get the vid Terry! Also, I hope Dave is ok! 😉😎
Thanks Brian! We are in the middle of a heat wave. It is also very humid. Dave’s just fine and didn’t even spill a drop of tea!
What a nice looking engine!
Great fun.
Oh Dave 🙄😂
Indeed Simon. An awesome and quirky engine. And yeah… Dave…
Another very nice Shay Terry.
Yep. It’s cool. And very different.
Nice locomotive, remarkable job! like 6
Thanks Fabrizio! ☺️
@@Terrys-Steam-and-Cobi Thanks to you too!
Beautifully made engine Terry.
It’s pretty cool. 😎 The fellow that built it in the 90’s knew what he was doing.
Proper job .😊
Indeed.
Amazing engine Terry.
It sure is Hunter. ☺️
That’s a pretty cool shay that Michael has! Yeah the friar right there seems to like steam engines a lot!
Hehe. He does love the steam!

It does run great. A neat kitbash for sure. I wonder if you can search the net for small ready made box gears and bevel gears, etc.
@@Terrys-Steam-and-Cobi Mecanno gears would be the closest. I have made Mecanno pulleys work on some of my engines. Thanks Terry.

Hehehehe. Good thing Dave was only kidding around. ☺️ yeah, this engine is my kind of thing too.
Thats why I got up quick Steve🤣
@@davidwhite1864 hahahahahaha
That's a really nice locomotive! With its black paint job, it looks very realistic! By the way, we're only at 84 down here in the sunny south 😎

Hmm. Interesting question. I don’t have any locos with lit cabs and have never considered it. I’ll have to give that some thought.
@@Terrys-Steam-and-Cobi try a LED hidden in the tender with a plug, or a match or a candle idk, be carful if you do plan on that though
@@Chessie-Steam-Special i think an LED may work. Connected to the same batteries operating the RC. I don’t have such LEDs at present. But it may work.

Lol. Well, the Friar doesn’t ask in this video. ☺️
