Yo how u doing
Bro whats good
Hiiii
Hi Deactivate
Why were your older videos removed?
Back in the earlier days of Minecraft...
*ok moving on*
I’m sick of him saying that
i never played lol
It’s not an ideactivateMC video without him saying that phrase
@@yasser3268really lol😂 me too
I got Minecraft right before 1.14 releases and it has changed a lot ever since. I wouldn't consider myself a veteran, but I got to experience the old textures for a little until they got changed
“had to deal with” as if they weren’t at least alright
I had something similar, but I had it for 1.7 before 1.8 came out
ive been here for 4 years and can’t remember what version
@@alice_fpe_401ms probably 1.13, 1.14, or 1.12
I’ve been playing Java since between 1.10.2 and 1.11, so I had to see those older textures for a lot longer. Looking back on them, they’re quite ugly now.
The amount of Nostalgia this game gives me is incredible
ikr .
I swear most of my minecraft knowledge has come from your fact videos.
Hello!

Not many people know this, but Minecraft Pocket Edition had something called the Nether Reactor Core before Nether Portals. It looked like the beacon mixed with prismarine blocks surrounded by 12 cobblestone and 4 gold blocks. Tapping the reactor would start generating netherrack and Zombie Pigmen around you. This would also turn all the blocks in its structure into glowing obsidian, which was crimson red.
The first time I got Minecraft was on my mum's old tablet. I always wandered what these blocks were, never realising what their true purpose was. I usually put them in the attic of all my builds.
😊
I’ve heard of the nether reactor, and even though I first got MCPE, I got it after the nether reactor was “removed” and the Nether itself was added.
Oh em gee I remember this
You can also make triple chests by placing the third chest inside a water source block. You could also make a quadruple chest, tho the inventory wasn't fully accessible from the middle chest block. If you took it a step further and made a quintuple chest, opening it would crash your game.
I thank this man for gifting me vast minecraft knowledge over the years, 🤧 good times
The Husk-Zombie-Drowned method explains a little why the Drowned's armor looks a little strange in Bedrock. The zombie's flesh is swelling from the water, so it makes the armor seemingly compress the skin underneath.
Didn’t know this, thanks. Idk if that’s why it looks weird but it makes it seem logical and cool!
As of right now, the only way to get a naturally spawned jungle or swamp villager is if a village spawned near the border of a viable biome and went into a jungle or swamp, which is very rare so I got lucky on a new world to have such a thing happen relatively close to the world spawn
“The large chest used to have a line going down the middle of its texture”
Perfectionists: Trust me, we know.
the "it's" does not require an apostrophe because it's denoting possession like "its items" instead of being "it is"
@@evanderminecraft7381 My bad. I corrected the comment now.
This guy gives me so much nostalgia and I don’t know why. He gives off very 2014 CZcamsr vibes. Earned my sub
Cringe "earned my sub" bro u ain't famous or shi💀
@@-Nxght- bro who hurt you? I’m just trying to show my appreciation forwards a CZcamsr that I enjoy watching. The fact that you are saying I’m cringe is very hypocritical, cause your trying to start shit in a Minecraft CZcams comment section. Just leave people alone, no need for you to spread toxicity just because I showed some appreciation.
P.S (What does being famous have to do with anything? Like…what?)
@@-Nxght- also you can’t be taking about cringe with those weird ass edits on your channel. Like what are you 9? The fact that you play Mcpe also shows a lot.
@@ProtonXz Dawg it's cringe and a famous wannabe thing with "you earned my sub". At this point the phrase " bro who hurt you" lost it's meanin, listen to yo self brother
@@-Nxght- bro how could I pretend to be famous when I have like 2 subs? And why would I pretend to be famous? You have no reasoning, and your arguments are just “your cringe 💀 “ like actually get some real factual reasoning as to why I can’t show appreciation forwards a CZcamsr I like. I’ll wait.
You should make a video about other stuff than minecraft facts, like ways to be killed in minecraft, how to make hidden base or trolling friends with new blocks & contraptions, or a survival series
Thanks for the suggestions, I’ll defo look into doing them! 😅
@@iDeactivateMC l disliked ur comment by accident l will keep it like that lol
22:10 anyone miss the OG villager skin or is it just me?
I was so focused in chest curiosities that when he suddently started talking about beds I thought "wait, wasn't this a video about chests?"
The Steve Co. Supply Crate is a joke knockoff of the Mann Co. Supply Crate from Team Fortress 2. Notch added this in the game while they had a close game relationship with each other in the old days where Notch actually owned Minecraft. He added it in, as he knew about the Mann Co. store, and it is a HUGE part of the TF2 economy. 4:48
5:28 don’t forget that locked chests in a way are still around in Java.
I got minecraft in 2023
@@iloverocks1235 ok, and…?
Dude the old door sound is super satisfying
Idk why but i cracked up so hard at 3:35 when the random gingerbread popped up 😂
The Steve Co. Supply crate was a reference to tf2 supply crates
The Nostalgia is incredible. I started playing Minecraft back in version 1.2.5 i think that was around 2012. After version 1.12 i stopped playing and recently I came back and god damn they added much my mind was completly blown. But to be honest, in my opinion were the versions 1.5 - 1.7 the glory days of Mincraft (mostly bc it had a lot of players and PvP)
37:22 I DID I DID!!! i still even have the screenshot. i was on a server at the original base i had, i wound up getting a new base later on. i looked outside and there was a full diamond zombie. i did kill it only because i had so much trouble trapping it. i even kept its rotten flesh and named it as well
38:42 fun fact about me: when i was playing minecraft in 1.20 i was really confused on why the baby zombies burnt in the sun as i was so uses to them just being immune to it
Welcome back again Anthony! Can't wait to see what I didn't know about Minecraft.
8:30 little known fact: iron bars also speed up the process
Tbh water deactivating nether portals makes sense tho.
You do light it after all. I´ve bee playing since beta 1.5 I think.
Heck ya always love when your upload I learns a lot from you 😃
3:34 My last 3 brain cells during a test be like
finally, i found a comment about this. lol
'Chest is the only block that can spawn in all 3 dimensions'
Obsidian: am I a joke to you
Bedrock..
That’s what I think about creepers. Those little green four-legged menaces would just sneak around my house and explode me.
I love your videos Anthony your the only OG youtuber Who never quited
@moms spaghetti ooooh i thought he quited
Really great video I really love it
Interesting Facts about Minecraft is just Awesome!
Fantastic i really wanted a video about chests
I love this channel!
4 minutes in I forgot this video isn’t exclusively about chests and just accepted a new reality where I decided I needed to know every chest fact ever known
Fun fact, my first time playing PC Minecraft was during the villager April fools. I was VERY confused that day.
That’s about a hour video 🎊
Keep it up! 👍
I am happy that ppl still make Minecraft vids
Ive been playing since 1.9 and sometimes i miss the simplicity of the old version
Finally a video with a title like this that actually says stuff that I didn't know
Fr
Herobrine*
Cool! Vids combine together!!!
So this is _probably_ the wrong video to comment this but, did anyone else experience a bizarre glitch with superflat worlds (I found this on xbox 360 ver) where random pools of lava would appear all over the place? Never really thought about asking until now. I would put the seed but I cannot at the moment. I will try to put it here when I can.
(I've looked up videos on the glitch and found nothing relating to it so I'm curious if this is just a me thing lol. It is also important to note that at the time you could edit the structure of the world (Making all blocks lava/diamond blocks in your flat world, I cannot remember much about it because this was so long ago..) I think. This specific world was not edited and just generated on the spot.
My god the Steveco TF2 reference made my heart jump, love that.
The good old zombie villager didn’t fight back at mobs who shot the old zombie villager by accident, until MCJE 1.7 until the behavior was removed from the old zombie villager in MCJE 1.8
does anyone remember how great it felt once beds became bouncy?
Alternate title: 250 things about minecraft chests you didn't know
Now that is epic
Is nobody gonna talk about that random ginger bread
You can’t tell me you *dont* like the background music 🕺
More nostalgia having the ocarina of time music in the background as well
Him : villages, villagers ×100
Villagers : bro, please shut up we are sleeping.
😂
Started playing on 1.3.1. Still play it for the memories and the old features :)
I remember in the old days that creepers would explode in creative
Thank you
I just figured out the rarest possible mob in Minecraft, baby zombie, decked out in diamond armor spawning on a baby brown panda
My favorite part is where Anthony said “Back in the earlier days of Minecraft”
I also vaguely remember zombies eating chickens in the old days in minecraft lol
My god it's been years since I last saw this channel pop out in my recommendations
49:27 Apple Chestplate recipe unlocked.
Still can't believe that though 😂
Gotta love that gingerbread man that randomly appears at 3:35
Also, I started playing Java while it was on 1.10.2
Im so glad Im not then only one that noticed it
This is probably the longest episode i’ve watched in like 2 years
Love this guy's accent lmao, every "i" is an "oi"
love the background ocarina of time music, just though that needed to be pointed out
The developer who thought rubies looked like Redstone was too ignorant of color tones and had no right eliminating it
I started Minecraft in 2015 on pocket. Also, I’ve seen a few zombies with diamond armor but never a full set
👍 I started at 1.12.2 - It was right before the watermonument-update i guess.
the chest is older than most of the player base, let that sink in lol
Nostalgic 🔥
I mean the Pig "Men" could represent how the zombie pigmen came to be as they were lost to the hellish nature of the nether. They couldn't find their way out and lost their lives.
this channel was my childhood, couldnt buy minecraft back then so i watched mc content religously
The iron golem giving a flower to baby villagers must be a reference to 1931's Frankenstein when Boris Karloff (Frankenstein's monster) gives a flower to a little girl. It's a very famous scene that's been referenced in many films over the past near 100 years. I'm sure Studio Ghibli was referencing the original Frankenstein when they used it in Castle in the Sky.
Number 21: Steve Co. Supply Crate is actually a Team Fortress 2 reference, referencing the Mann Co. Supply Crate which you'd get as a random item drop and need to use an in-game store to get a key for.
Neato!
The bed clutch only works at night but when u die u also set ur respon point so u dont lose any of ur stuf so its a win win
Beds used to let light through, i remember using glowstone to light my base and have a floating bed on the celing, so it kinda looked like a half slab emitting light
Shoutout Anthony!
You should add more mario 64 music it makes the vid even better than it already is
This guy makes a living by reading us patch notes. Genius 😂
i actually have not seen one diamond armor zombie but two, on the same hardcore world, which is super rare. both are name tagged and trapped in a dark room
I had minecraft java at 1.11, before that I had xbox 360 minecraft edition, before that I played some of the earliest minecraft PE editions, if not the earliest. I still remember features from 1.8, this is because I used to play earlier version than 1.11 because there was a very popular minecraft series in the Netherlands that was played in 1.8.
50:11 when starting to speak about the smithing table... i like background Herobrine...
i feel like the nether portal getting destroyed by water makes sense because it is literally done with fire
I started with original release of the 360 version with that classic tutorial map and since then moved on to Xbox one edition and now if it ever get fully finished I’ll get it on my ps5 despite how great the days of 360 version was plus all the content that came from Minecraft just like with gmod and fnaf
Honestly Pigman as Villagers would’ve gave us some explanation as to where Zombie Pigman came from.
It is so sad about axolotls because they’re sooo pretty/cute depending on their colors
Now I know how I’m gonna spend the next hour.
“The chest is the only block that appears in the overworld, the nether, and the end”
Bedrock literally crying in a corner
I like the spirit temple music in the background
i was today years old when i found out beds don’t have 2D legs anymore. for some reason the 3D legs look so weird
12:20 the reason why you couldn’t see your skin was because you were probably in the blanket.
the rarest mob in the game is literally baby husk zombie with full diamond armor diamond sword in the left hand riding a brown panda. the only way to get this is if your spawn point is in a desert and there’s a jungle right next to you. good luck to anyone who’s gets this vanilla.
11:38 A bed has saved my life before, i would've died, plus, i was near a bunch of cacti, my stuff could've fell into it.
Though i lost my Netherite armour a few days ago from a desert Temple, which i was about to leave, but for some reason, i pit the presure plate where i was standing, i could've used my shield, but no.
17:17
Baby turtles, and bees:
31:27 that's not a frame.
I found an Enchanted Golden Apple in a Mineshaft chest! I really didn't know it was that rare...
I’ve found at Enchanted Apple in almost every minecart chest ever😭
I really wish they had the old sounds along with the original texture pack. That would make the game so much more enjoyable to me. Like hearing Steve go OOF OOF OOF OOF and just stuff like that 😂
Fun fact chest aren’t actually “only” block that can spawn in all dimensions but so can obsidian and bedrock may be more but that’s just some extras.
Weird fact. During an old version of minecraft on Java or bedrock or xbox 360 edition, if you tried to go to the nether on a super flat world. The nether would also be super flat, with a roof and walls being made of bedrock.
11:30 fun fact: in bedrock they still use that sprite now
Full block Chests placed next to each other in the thumbnail : wait that's illegal
Happy fourth of July!🎉
