30 New Things Added in Minecraft 1.20 Trails & Tales Update

- This is 30 new things added in Minecraft 1.20 (Unnamed Update). In the 23w07a Minecraft snapshot, new things were introduced such as the cherry grove biome with cherry blossom trees! We also have a new mob, the sniffer! The Archaeology feature is also finally added to Minecraft, use your brush on suspicious sand to uncover diamonds or new pottery shards.
This video will also show many other things in version 1.20

Unless Mojang has a name picked out because they've mentioned every important feature, I think the update should be called the Boom & Bloom Update!
So far, the armour updates are my favorite. The templates give us another reason to explore our world which I love. Also it just looks sick.

Correction, the coast armor trim can only be found in shipwreck chests, the tide armor trim is the one found in ocean monuments in elder guardians :)

The cherry wood type, the mud bricks and even the bamboo blocks can all be used in a cozy little cottage core style hose.
Or some candy kingdom themed builds
Bamboo block for walls and packed mud for floor, and you have yourself the backrooms.

The rafts are more unique because they're not the same shape as that of any boat variety out of all wood

I feel like they are finally adding things that are important to the players that you only find in mods. Now they just need to add more enchants and potion effects.

Im definetly gonna build in cherry biomes using cherry wood. Its just so cute and aesthetic especially the leaves

Huh that’s neat, I didn’t know we could make blank pots without needing to find fragments and just using bricks. That could be useful for some nice decorations.
My favourite part of 1.20 is the Sniffer. It’s just so perfect, the way it just plops down and sniffs out the seeds and then after it looks proud of it.

I actually liked mojang’s previous concept for “suspicious sand”, in which the brush would enable players to remove physical layers of the block.
I think it had technical issues I mean look at the wool carpets and slabs

Most cherry blossoms don’t give you edible cherries, they only produce the cherry flower

The armor templates are gunna force players to explore structures more and im so happy about that cuz exploring is one of my favorite things to do in the game

If I hd to guess what the update’s name is, It has a lot to do with wood(two new wood types, new tree based biome, signs) and rocks(archaeology, desert biome updates, sniffer sort of ) So maybe Sticks and Stones?

Whenever I play Minecraft I never settle down and build a house, but the cherry blossom biome makes me really want to build a cute little cabin
So the new sniffer mob digs up a new flower called the torch flower which makes you able to breed more sniffers and doesn't work as a torch... I don't know why anyone voted for this mob at least the rascal would have gave you something of use

Anything in Minecraft can feel like a resource pack when you first add it into the game unless it drastically changes the game.
I mean they promised a new type of tree in the sniffer preview, end up sniffer dont give a new tree, but they add cherry blossom. Everything is perfect
They said ancient plants in the sniffer Preview, nothing to do with specifically trees
I think my favorite armor trim is the vex, it kinda makes you look and feel like an evoker

I bet the new Minecraft update would be called the "New Minecraft Experience" since there is a new interface on Bedrock, not sure about Java.
The “new interface” was added in 1.19 and yes, Java got a UI change this update
@@kcoolthegamer I knew it. Hopefully it's all complete when the update comes. Recently the old interface was very bug worthy and filled with bugs and crashes. Sometimes the interface doesn't respond at all!
3:28 You are wrong. It's the tide armor trim that is obtained from Elder Guardians, not the coast armor trim.

Was not expecting the cherry blossom grove, always thought Mojang would add that at some point. I always see in building servers where people build cherry blossoms using pink wool, but now they can do the real thing.
I love the cherry trees, it's so beautiful. I can't wait to make a giant custom cherry tree next to my giant Arizona can.

Torchflowers don't emit light because they're a real flower,, not just a made up flower meant to resemble a minecraft torch or anything of the sorts.

I soooo annoyed about the sniffer. We were promised ancient plants. Notice how its plants, plural? And the thing we got was one plant that could be made into dye. I love this update otherwise though. Oh, and I have no beef with the sniffer itself. Just its abiltys to sniff.

The cherry blossom biome should have the pink Moolip cow from Minecraft Earth in it as it really fits with the cherry blossom biome.
Very excited for this. A lot of people are whining saying "but modders did it years ago!" adding something to most games is nice. You can say that about literally any mod and update, modding is much easier than coding something for this.

Just One Thing is wrong:
The TIDE trim drops from an elder gaurdian while the COAST is in shiprecks.
Not just thousands of combinations, were talking DECILLIONS (with the added leather combinations)
