- New Minecraft updates release pretty often, but Mojang have confirmed a lot of features that will be added in the distant future! Mojang have placed many ideas under review to be added in Minecraft 1.20 and beyond. So, here's a list of 34 new Minecraft updates, like penguins, the archaeology update, backpacks, and much more.
All info for this video was sourced from Mojang's official "Under Review" list on the Minecraft Feedback site and from the mentioned features page on the wiki.

Things I want in the Minecraft Sky:
- Shooting Stars;
- North Star;
- Rainbow (After the rain);
- Blood Moon (Lunar Event);
- Harvest Moon (Lunar Event);
- Blue Moon (Lunar Event);
- Sand storm (Desert and badlands weather);
- Snow storm (Thunderstorm version of the snowy biomes);
- Different sky colors in some biomes.
How about game sounds like wind in the mountains and the movement of the leaves in forests.
Idk why we can't go to the moon yet, it would be such a good feature maybe even better then the warden.
@@connorsworld2283 I mean, we haven't seen a lick of futuristic or even modern technology in-game, so how would getting to the moon work?
Not to mention it'll likely be coded as a dimension, so we'd have to wait until Mojang fully flesh out the 3 dimensions we have before they even consider the giant cheese rock

Radium sounds pretty cool, since you can basically go to any block there is ingame. And having a block you CAN‘T approach does sound awesome.

radium is actually a Real Element which exists but you cat really Get it excet a few atoms of it which are super radiaoctive and expensive

@@8crafter Yeah probably true. It's not that I dont like the way his videos are made or anything, I just don't think this sparks the right thoughts in the community, like, Mojang had enough pressure now, don't make the community beg for a ridable dragon now c'mon...
Furthermore, the fact that all of these ideas are over 2 or more years old - if not 4 - makes it even more absurd to me to suggest all of these ideas as an inevitable reality. Like, uranium, cobwebbing spiders, and the mentioned rideable dragons make no sense for Minecraft, while other mentioned features, like the idea of a wizard, pigman, and backpack have already in effect been added, or will be soon, through things already mentioned in the video, I.E. the illusioners, piglins, and bundle or shulker box. The only parts of this video that can be taken as fact, are the stuff we already know about, like archaeology, bundles, illusioners, etc. Everything else is at most speculation, and at worst wishful thinking, cherry-picking, and looking too much into things.
I can't talk much about the rest of this channel - this is his first video I've witnessed - but this one seems... misleading, and thoughtless.

Wouldn't backpacks be worse than shulker boxes?
You would lose an almost essential armour slot and get less storage instead of a slot in your inventory but getting 3 rows within said slot. The backpack would be useful early game if they were made with wool or something but once you got shulker boxes they would be easily forgotten

Six months ago, I think Minecraft will add penguins six months later, Minecraft, put it in the Minecraft, 2023, mob vote, but it was eliminated first
These are the kind of things that I need to see Mojang add to the game that will make me want to play it a lot more heavily. A new dimension is probably top tier on the list.

1.21 should be called the "end update" where it adds radium ores to the end dimension and other stuff like that.
I would love to see new unique weapons that you can only find or trade. A new unique sword like a claymore or a Sabre would be cool to find in your world.

I've been saying for a while that what I think the vanilla game really needs right now is a creative/practicalities update.
1. Glass staircases and slabs. It's way overdue.
2. Concrete staircases, slabs, and, walls. Solid colors for these items would improve builds so much.
3. Stone doors. (Blackstone and quartz would be especially nice) Also stone trap doors. (Again blackstone and quartz would be helpful)
4. Doors auto align when placed between walls, fences, or glass panes. (Would take up 2 block spaces yes, but worth it)
5. A spear. Stabbing weapon with built-in partial knockback, for zoning mobs at close range where your bow isn't practical.
Flint, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite spearhead types. Enchantable.
6. Under-layer armor slots for chainmail adding a small amount of extra DEF, but more importantly making chainmail actually useful.
7. Craftable leather straps from splitting leather. These could be used to make things like saddles, and maybe even added as a requirement for armor.
8. Different shield styles using different materials. (No stat change except maybe durability?)
9. Deluxe crafting table. 4x4 vs 3x3. Requires some kind of rare material (Maybe reinforced deepslate?) and can't be moved once placed.
10. A flippin wheel! Like seriously. Minecarts have wheels! It exists in the game world! We should be able to make one.
11. A craftable horse cart using the flippin wheel and deluxe crafting table.
12. Larger boat. Maybe a small Viking style longboat. Deluxe table item?
13. Longer day/night cycles? 15 min each instead of 10?
Fun fact. Penguins were in the mob vote.but lost and minecraft said they are coming in future updates anyway

Pigman bodyguards look AWESOME, Backpacks could be fun, and Radium would be SO COOL. I love shooting stars and fish bowls, but my favourite is Emerald stuff. I've wanted green armour so much, and while turtle shells are good, what about the rest?

I love the Radon idea. And the placeble gunpowder. I would also want to see sea monsters 😂 like I would love to see extremely deep oceans, like something like from ~60 to bedrock or close to it. That way you could add like a kraken monster or something like that. Or like a way to summon monsters as bosses in these huge oceans.

They should add a whale that leads you to ship recks and fight off the underwater zombies (sorry I forgot their name) because in real life whales tend to help seals fight of their predators such as orcas.

I would love to see weather getting a overhaul, making the clouds more meaningful. The weather could be localized. Maybe make the clouds render much further than the actual render distance, allowing you to see incoming or passing distant rain or even thunderstorms, where you can listen to less loud thunders. Maybe have the clouds also have different scales rather than being flat and have rain and thunderstorm in several intensities. Also would be cool to have a cloudy sky sometimes, making it a bit darker, something between clear and rain. Maybe also have foggy weather as well. I would LOVE this!
Another things I would love to see is like acid as fluid, damaging mobs and healing undead ones. Seismic actie biomes, where there are random earthquakes and lava erupting from the ground in random places, kinda like in Clonk. Water geysers and maybe even lava geysers/volcanoes would also be a nice addition and adds lots of atmosphere. And more items like sulfur (to create gunpowder), cheese to craft more food, emerald/copper/obsidian tools/weapons/armor, etc...

Uncrafting is insanely broken,let me explain,
1: You can correct mistakes
2: You can hunt for tools in chests and uncraft them to recraft them into something useful
3: If a tool or armor is about to break, you can uncraft and recraft it to get a full new piece, it's like infinite durability but without enchants

Radium melts at the same point that leaves ignite (both at 700°C).
I wish there is a mod that lets you have calender (crating) and also get markers (also crafting)
That can make a day special by using a marker and making a circle around the day
On the feedback website “under review” just means that they have not decided anything for the idea and anything put on the feedback website will be marked as “under review” so almost everything mentioned in the video is probably NEVER going to come to Minecraft

Not many probably, if you've ever been on the Minecraft Feedback site, you'll know that anyone can suggest anything and it automatically gets the "under review" tag by default. I could literally write "add a fortnite gamemode" and it would apparently be getting reviewed.

I'm also not saying no suggestions on the feedback page will be included, but most of them really won't as they just dont make sense for the game and this guy makes it seem like were gonna get all this crazy stuff written by kids thinking they have a good idea thats not thought through at all.

About the uncrating table, you could make a pickaxe like a diamond or nether one and when it almost dies you can just uncraft it and then craft it again (even if it has a cost it would still be useful)

@@chessenjoyer-bx5zl It doesn't take much to set one up and get mending. Then again I don't use dungeon spawners at all nor cave spider spawners. Mending you can have in a few hours of fishing or a villager if I'm lucky.

Wishlist for Minecraft
1. Platypus (might be milked for poison or being fed insects to help mining clay)
2. Skeleton wolf (could be tamed using flesh)
3. Elephant (Asian in jungles and African in savanna, could be tamed and used as a tank, has a mechanic like a goat and drop tusk to use for decoration)
4. The ability to sit on anything (if they wouldn't add furniture then this is the better idea)
5. Penguins (might drop feathers like chickens drop eggs and be used to upgrade leather armour)
6. Hamburger (crafted using 2 bread, a new vegetable, and cooked beef or pork)
7. Soybeans (could be crafted into tempeh or tofu)
8. Yogurt (crafted with milk and mushrooms)
9. Sawmill (like a stonecutter but with wood)
10. Leviathan (look like a Plesiosaur, neutral and could be tamed)

i vividly remember how i was googling how to make wolves to spawn, planted some tall grass, misunderstood grass block and tall grass, and after few minecraft days had passed several cobweb blocks appeared out of nowhere right where i put grass
