When I heard this song it broke me into tears. When I was 13 I was told I would never have any children due to my health issues. When I got with my Fiancé in 2021 I went to 3 other opinions and they all told me the same thing no no no. Last year February 2023 I miscarried. Which broke me even hardr and made me actually believe it. But, my Fiancé said in time babe they said you couldn't concive and you did you may have lost it love and I now its hard just keep faith only God can give breath of life and take breath of life so I did. Here I am in 2024 and I gave birth to my miracle she was born January 27th. It was ruff along the way but God blessed me with an amazing beautiful daughter. This song I have dedicated to my daughter ❤️ Everytime I hear this song I break down in tears know what an amazing miracle blessing Gid has blessed me with.
I’m just starting row 7 of the sides, will the sides stand up more on their own as it gets taller? I’m using the same yarn and my stitch count and measurements are correct. Just wondering If I should keep going or not
Hi! The sides should definitely be standing up already from the 1st/2nd round of the sides. I'm wondering what kind of t-shirt yarn are you using, is it from Hoooked? Maybe your tension is different, is it quite loose? You might have to go down a few hook sizes to get tighter stitches.
Can I double-strand the yarn to make it firmer and Can I use this to attach to a wooden base?
double strand t-shirt yarn or regular yarn? You can try but that is going to change your stitch count and when you get to doing the pattern on the sides it will be a bit different, also it will be heavier. If you use a wooden base that is a great way to make the sides stiff and take off the weight! I would try it, tell me how it goes!

Hi! The t-shirt yarn I used was from Hoooked which you can find from their website, and now also on Amazon. Everything is written in the pattern. Happy crocheting!

Hi! Thanks for your purchase. I do list the colors however the company that I use doesn't always have the same exact color because they use recycled materials - so on their website you can basically find the same color it just won't have the exact same name if that makes sense :)

You may have to go down a few hook sizes for tighter stitches because it could be your tension in your hands.

Dosent doing tapestry crochet eat up a lot of yarn since your not cuing to have The ends to weave in and it makes it easier to pull up the different colors but doesn’t that eat a lot of yarn like you’re having just a bunch of yarn pulling through colors instead of actually using that yarn you’re just tucking it in writing isn’t that eat it up instead of using?
