Tim Scheerhorn's resonator guitars range between about 4000 to 10000 dollars used. In order to get a new one I think you pay $500 to get on the list, and the guitars start at around 10,000 new. He's semi retired so not many are being built.
National Resophonic in California are now building guitars to his design, and have been very well received. They start 2600 dollars for a mahogany, custom models have been priced three times higher at least.

You make em all sound real good Mike, but this one was really sweet. I'm afraid to look at the price tag! t's nice to hear side by side comparisons of nearly the same tune on various resos. Thanks heaps!

Nice playing. The Goldtone PBS has just as good tone.

The Goldstone guitars are great. I'm a big fan and they are hard to beat in that price range, but they don't compete with top tier instruments made by Tim Scheerhorn and Paul Beard.

Nice, but over priced in my opinion. Not trying to take anything from Tim. but my solid mahogany Reed with a Beard Legend cone is right up there with this! Nice playing BTW!
