I hope you see this comment, but on February 24th, ST VR comes out for the Meta Quest. In the description, it says it explores his involvement and influence on prior seasons. Maybe it'll give us clues into his plan in season 5
Calling it now, time travel will be used, Linda Hamiltons character will be a future version of 11, she sought the help of Brennan or used Brennan to train the current 11 we see, my reasoning why it might be time travel? Brennan was adamant 11 continue training because she's not ready, he knew she could beat vecna/ Henery but couldn't beat the mind flayer
Millie was wearing a wig during season 4, they showed a bts clip of the team putting it on.
I think the teaser for the scoops ahoy was bc they released real ice cream from scoops ahoy for a wile a couple months ago. I think that was the announcement for it

I'll warn you though... the 'Void' ice cream tastes fine, but it will absolutely make you crap bright green for a day and a half or so, which is pretty alarming. (It contains this one particular blue food dye that can't be digested, so it goes out the same color it went in...)

@@mysticdiamond8944 it's possible, heh... but that food dye is surprisingly common. Mountain Dew Pitch Black does the same thing, and it was in this green peppermint shake Sonic had a few years ago.
I'm Ready for season 5. This is a great show with a genuinely scary story.
Will playing a big part will likely be “Will is yet again a macguffin”. Poor kid would be the easiest to kill, heaviest impact with the least amount of complication. He’s hardly a character, just the thing that gave other characters a reason.
And the actor is a genocide apologist.
Not going to be sad when he goes, tbh.

If Vecna doesn't do it, a gaggle of bullies would over that awful haircut. First thing I said last season to my grandkids, "See, he's just BEGGING to be picked on w/that hair..." It was the 80s, hair was EVERYTHING, all across the USA. Need a better consultant.
I think it's 1989 as there is a set photo with Batman, Karate Kid 3, S3x Lies And Videotape, and Field Of Dreams (all released in 1989) on posters on a cinema
I think Victors mom will play a part in defeating him. Remember he said his “victims never leave him and he probably keeps their minds trapped in a sub dimension where they will have to free Max from to wake her up. His mom knew he had powers and was playing music at their last dinner to hamper his powers. When he stops the music she immediatley is scared of him and he kills her. This is the first time we hear the clock and I wonder if we thought the clock was this ominous sound but it’s really his mother warning people he is about to attack. She like Max is a mental prisoner of his and has tried to warn us all this whole time
Honestly if max gets saved it would ruin it for me. That ending was dark and I'm here for it. I hope she just passes away. The stakes have been way to high for it to have a very happy ending.

I think the first episode being titled “The Crawl” is a Star Wars reference to the opening crawl that catches us up on the story. The episode will catch us up on where everyone is now…

Really stretching my suspension-of-disbelief by not having any kind of time jump. These "kids" are literally grown adults now lol. Edit: I just discovered that the little girl that played Hopper's dying daughter is getting ready to turn 15 years old. She's older than some of the current actors when they started this thing.
Hella adults play kids in movies and shows tho. and for the kids they are mostly still only like 21 or so so it's not much of a stretch for them to play kids in high school still
They're professionals and can make it believable. In other productions there are actors with obvious 2020s plastic surgery, playing real people from recent memory while wearing these artificial faces, but if they can also act they sell it.
I'm not worried about this. They are all in their early 20's and will be playing teenagers. This happens all time anyway and it's fine. I think the only character there will be an issue with is Erika. As she is supposed to be like 11, but the actor is 17.
Dude yeah the writers said there would be… terrible fact checking by this channel . Sure they could show scenes/recap scenes of what happened since , but the main story will be time a jump
Oooooo! It felt good to get excited about a cinematic universe that’s not in a multiverse for a change! It was cool to feel genuine curiosity wondering what will happen to the beloved characters and where will this story go? Versus watching a teaser trailer wondering how much homework I gotta do to catch up and understand the weaving backstories. I’m grateful for Stranger Things happening in our lives when it did. We’ve all been on a nostalgic journey with these characters just as we’ve been on our own journeys of uncertainty & survival through the pandemic and these years of recovery afterwards. It’s funny how the Heavy Spoilers, ScreenCrush, Reel Rejects, etc crews have become a part of my entertainment watching routine. Years ago, I’d watch a movie and maybe talk about it with a cool co-worker or someone random on the street. Now, I watch something and IMMEDIATELY check in to see who posted a vid. I have to turn to you guys to recap & explain things I didn’t catch. I love reading the comments and see so many clever, funny, witty, passionate folks on here, too. Fans or not. It’s fun to Theory Time with my fellow peeps. It’s truly a fun time to be a nerd.

Millie didn't shave her head for season 4. In the behind the scenes footage, they show her having a specially made bald cap fitted.
She can't shave her head with all the other stuff she has going on. She's way more famous than she was in season 1.
Basically, they can do their hair however they like.

What if they decided to have Vecna torment Dustin & the group by bringing back what we think is Eddie but it’s a hallucination/trap/demon or whatever and he torment Dustin and the entire group basically making them feel like it was their fault he died

My thing is that I really want the Mind Flayer to return and have a major presence in the season. I kinda preferred it as the ultimate evil master in the Upside Down with Vecna as the general. I still love Vecna, but i really enjoy the idea if an ancient, primordial entity. Also i kinda liked the Mind Flayer more as an archnemesis to Eleven like in season 3 where she can hold it back but it easily piece itself back together

Yea I liked vecna but mind flayer seemed a much better villain, something that is truly evil, I guess they wanted something more tangible with vecna so kind of get that.
I got to see The First Shadow in London (very fortunate, I know, and it was a m a z i n g). Since it's canon it gave insight into characters' motivations and added more background detail to the full picture.

I don't think it changes anything except maybe who created what in the upside-down, and it opened the slightest possibility of a redemption arc for Vecna/Henry. He didn't start out evil. Brenner is worse.

I think the mall reference with the scoops ahoy sign is maybe referencing Billy’s death resting place which could align with the first episodes title about crawling back or something. Maybe all of the victims killed by Vecna come back?- huge inference though.

The tentative plan is to release an episode (mini-film) each week during late summer 2025. The previs has long been done and CGI work is all prepped but this will be shooting until mid-summer.
I do like the whole peddle to the medal cinematic thing. But i really hope they don't completely go away from what made Stranger Things so great. The characters.

Dustin has been too busy for his friends as he's helped found a new D&D club at Hawkins High, but little does he know the dark secrets the members hold. Eleven and Will have had a hard time adjusting to a new life, with their classmates being no help in the slightest. Things start to kick up again when Joyce and Murray find a secret message that changes what they previously thought happened during the Battle of Starcourt. At the same time, dark secrets reveal themselves in Hawkins that propels Dustin, Lucas, Max, Nancy, Steve, and Robin into a mystery that threatens to unravel Hawkins. My response to Will being a big part (I agree) then it said being processed... *sigh*. I really hope this is not the case, give Will the chance to shine and make a difference. Not be the victim again, this has been done to much or worse he was sidelined. I think have his knowledge of the upside down finally be used. The kid spend a week in the upside down, longer then everyone else (besides Vecna). And they have yet to tap into that resource.

I am HOPING the ending of the series does what no other series has done before, and throws the biggest best ending twist in a series finale, my favorite kind of ending, the one where despite all the effort, all the fighting, and all the BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS, the Villain still wins, and all the heroes are dead or just gone. No one would see it coming, it would be perfect!
