I don't know if you must use HL/extra load, but the bmw dealership uses Pirelli winter sottozero extra load 245/40 r19 on 530e in winter.
Something is not adding up with your range test. At least with a full battery, you should have gone further. Factory new, this car has at least 10 to 10.5kWh usable battery capacity. At 21.8kWh/100km, you should at least achieve 46-48km (10/0.218). With 38km in your test, this car underdelivered quite a bit, only using about 8.3kWh, meaning the battery might have an issue. Or is there a huge buffer below 0%?
It was not fully charged. In the clip where he start up the car after he plugged out it's at ~90%. Also when display start saying -- it has about 10% left. He stated 2% in the overlay. This can only be seen in the app, so maybe this is correct.
@@ahlsn7346 jep that might be it. Or there is actually a bigger buffer at the bottom. I did actually a full range test with a one year old car and was only able to use 9.6kWh in electric mode. Sill, when driving further in hybrid mode, the car was able to go 5km or so in electric mode. So 0km is certainly not 0% SOC including buffer.
The 530e not showing battery SOC as percentage in the display is one of my biggest complains with this car. The other one is, I haven't found a way to limit charging to 80% SOC neither within the car nor with the app.
How much km can the car drive total with Petrol included?
I'm not sure, but it should be around 600-700km.
But it depends on how you're driving.

The car has to sacrifice too much boot space for the batteries, so it sort of lost a lot of its functionality as a family hauler because of that.
