  • I visited the orthodox church in Republika Srpska, spend some time in a mosque at Konjic, as well as prayed in the most beautiful Islamic site in Pocitelj, and finally dipped my toes in the Bosnian sea :)

      @Ghazwa e hind yes brother. But wisdom is also Islamicly defined as saying the right thing at the right time at the right place. Our brother Jan was in beautiful place at beautiful historic masjid. Empty closed masjid. And said what should have been said in that moment, and that's we need to develop the people. What's is the use of spending millions on masjid if it's going to be Empty. People are more important than buildings brother. Teaching and developing the iman is more important.

    Interesting contrast if you compare the inside of the Mosque and Orthodox Church. I kinda feel intimidated seeing all the pictures of saint. I always love mosque because of how simple it is, not many distraction, only beauty of calligraphies and geometries that we all can appreciate. :)

    the mosques in europe look empty,,, in my country, mosques looks like coffee shops, there are always people, teenagers, women, children with their parents who come there even at the outside prayer times just to doing chit-chat or small meeting, playing (almost every big mosque in my country provide a children's play area and exercise area, such as volleyball, basketball, soccer field or just a ping pong table), drinking coffee (free coffee sachets, tea, sugar and hot/cold water equipment are always provided) Quran center to teach Arabic for children and teenagers and to study the Quran for adults, or just a place to take a break from work while playing cellphone (theres WiFi for free in every masjid),,,, the point is, mosques in my country never seem empty, there are always community activities and not just places of prayer.

    • @jantheslovakmuslim
      @jantheslovakmuslim  Před 2 lety +6

      What's your country? You realize Bosnia is in Europe so of course, it's less "Islamic" than other countries. BUt don't forget in my country there are no mosques and as Muslims, we struggle a lot.

      Also take into account that the actual population of the whole country does not surpass 2.5-2.7 million (few districts of Istanbul). Statistics say 3.2 million which is ok but actual people living in BiH are easily by half a million less. Berlin has bigger population than all of BiH in its best case scenario statistic!!
      I remind you that population before the aggression was 4.5 million (even then it's not a lot). BiH could easily comfortably accommodate 10 million in population.

      No, I don't want diversity.
      As a Muslim, I want all of Bosnia and all of the Balkans and Europe to be entirely Muslim.
      (As a side note, are you Muslim? Because if you are... There is only one deen accepted by Allah ta'ala)

      Yes yes... so much Croatia, that Dubrovnik gave Neum and Sutorina to Bosnia, just to protect itself from Republic of Venice, which Dalmatia belonged to. Of course Croatia as a country was nonexistent back then, it was just a region from which modern Croatia got its name from and part of Hungary along with Slavonia. But yeah, ignorance is a bliss Thomas... great job buddy 👏🏼😁😎 ⚜⚜
