Helicopter crash claims life of Iran president Ebrahim Raisi and other officials

President Cyril Ramaphosa says he's deeply saddened by the air disaster that has claimed the lives of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahain and personnel. Raisi and the high-ranking government officials died when their helicopter crashed in East Azerbaijan on their way back to Iran. Ramaphosa has also offered his deep condolences to the Supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Meanwhile, Vice-President Mohammad Mokhber has taken over as an interim leader and elections must be held within the next 50 days.
